Day I saw Dawn. "The girl in Mon's arms is our baby."

Itt felt as if a stone was lifted from his heart. He could breathe a lot better now that he had seen that his daughter was still alive.

Day nodded, he needed all his strength to not burst in there and get his princess. As soon as Phi and Mon disappeared into the house, Day and Itt stood up and walked over. Nan and Neil followed them carefully so Mon wouldn't see them coming.

As they stood in front of the door Itt started to worry, what if Phi did close the door and they couldn't get in? What if Phi decided to help his niece instead of helping Day and Itt? What if Mon would hurt their little girl and Day and Itt couldn't save her in time?

Day pushes against the door and for a second it seems like it will stay closed. Then the door swings open and Itt breathes out in relief. They enter the house and walk towards the kitchen where they hear people talking.

"Nong Mon, Milk looks like she is sick, are you sure she is okay? When I touched her head just now I felt her burning up. Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?"

"No P Phi, I'm a nurse and I know what I'm doing. I can take care of my daughter myself. She is just a little under the weather but she will be okay in no time."

"Nong, please listen to your P Phi, I'm worried about you. Ever since you lost your husband you are not feeling well. I just want to help you but please you have to give me Milk first. I will take care of her so you can take care of yourself."

Mon looked confused. "What are you talking about P Phi? Top is at work. He will be home in an hour. I'm cooking dinner for him, his favorite."

Phi felt his heart crush. Mon was worse than he thought. She didn't remember her husband and child dying all those years ago. Phi slowly took a step forward but Mon stopped him by taking a step back and holding Dawn closer to her chest.

"P Phi, I don't know what's wrong with you but please leave. I have to cook and you are distracting me with your weird story."

Phi took a step back and looked at his niece and the child standing on the other side of the kitchen. "Day and Itt, I think you guys should come in, I did my best but I don't think Mon knows what she is doing."

The kitchen door opened and Day and Itt entered. Nan and Neil stayed outside so they wouldn't scare Mon too much. Nan was on the phone telling someone what was happening.

Mon took another step back, hitting the countertop with her back. "What are these two doing here P Phi? Did you know they tried to steal my Milk from me? They brought her to the hospital because they couldn't take care of her. I had to take her with me because I knew she wouldn't be safe with them. And she is mine not theirs, she is mine and I will never let her go. Do you hear me? She is mine so stay away from us!"

As soon as Mon started screaming, Dawn opened her eyes and looked around slowly seeing her dads standing there. She started to cry and reached out to them.

"You see what you did? You made my baby cry, you are scaring her so get out of my house before I call the police. Leave my baby and me alone, Top will be home soon and he will throw you out."

Day took a step forward making sure he walked slowly and when he started talking his voice was soft and hushed. "Please Mon listen to me, the girl you're holding is not your daughter. Her name isn't Milk, her name is Dawn and she is my daughter. Can you understand me? Your daughter and husband aren't home right now but the girl your holding isn't yours."

Itt also took a step forward until he was standing next to Day. "Mon please, Dawn is sick and she needs to go back to the hospital. She has food poisoning and she needs help."
