Jake text's violet and sends her his address. Violet puts on her shoes and grabs her car key's and makes her way downstairs. No one's home because both her parents had to go to work so she writes on a post it note "gonna be at a friends house , call me if anything". She didn't want to say "jakes house" she thought that sounded a little weird since they just met, but usually her parents don't care.
She leaves the post it note on the fridge and walks out the house locking the door. She unlocks her car and sits in the driver seat. She begins pull out the driveway and puts on music. She puts on "power trip" by jcole featuring Miguel. That song was her favorite. Surprisingly when she put jakes address into the gps he didn't live far at all. Only about 15 minutes. Violet pulls into Jakes driveway and gets out the car. She knocks on the front door twice as she was about to knock again a woman opens the door. It was Jakes mom.
