So I was just reading a book right?
And like, the story was amazing, the words they used were great, But lemme tell yall something.

Im not tryna be your english teacher, BUT LEARN HOW TO USE PUNCTUATION!!!
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
commas: (,) they're used to separate a dependent and independent clause

Eg: the teacher slammed the door shut, looking furiously at the class.

("The teacher slammed the door shut" it works well by itself. This is an independent clause.)
("Looking furiously at the class." It doesn't make sense by itself. This is a dependent clause.)

You can do this the other way around aswell, it will still be the same thing but the teacher will look at the class furiously, then slam the door.

"Looking furiously at the class, the teacher slammed the door shut"
