The Owl

-Prologue-

It was a shiny day inside Wall Maria the fresh air tickled the face of the blonde girl.Isabelle was playing hide and seek with her father, she planned to hide on the top of a tree, hopefully that her father wouldn't catch her.
She climbed the log pretty easily, reaching the top of it unharmed.

<<Isabelle, I know where you are get out all ready!>>
Her father shouted, she giggled thinking that she was safe up there, and her father wouldn't find her.
But suddenly she felt something something was wrong.Her father presence was no longer nearby, she letted out a sound of relief.

<<Got you!>>
She saw her father climbing the tree in the way she did before, climbing it and reaching her daughter on the top of it

<<Come on you allways find me that's unfair of you father>>

<<And you should change spot>>
He said while ruffling her hair, meanwhile they got back on the surface.

<<I was lucky at the market today, I managed to buy meat it's pretty rare on this days, your mom cooked it with garlic bread and some flavors that I also bought this morning>>

Isabelle mouth quickly watered at the mention of meat not eating it for quiete a while.She ran inside the house, she could sense the smell the flavors and the meat even at the door way.
She sat at the dinner table waiting for her mom to bring her the dish with the meat.

<<There you go sweetheart>>
The mom said handing the dish to Isabelle.

<<Thank you mom, you're a great cook!>>
She said making her mom smile genuinely, as she turned back to the kitchen.

<<For the wall sake, this so delicious thank you mom>>

She compliment again.
In other hand the woman sat down along with her daughter.
<<Thank you for the kind words, someday we will get as much meat as you want if you your father gets promoted>>
She cuts her meat and being to eat it, Isabelle does the same thing.
While she was eating her meal she was interrupted by a loud noise outside the house, that made her almost choke with the meat.
She quickly split it in the plate coughing violently.

<<Isabelle are you all right?>>
Her mom tried to question her but she was interrupt by her father that was leaned on the door way.
He was breathing heavily, sweats could been see leaking on his forehead.

<<The titans, have breached the wall you have to go!>>
He tried to spell between heavy breaths. Isabelle was confused, how did the titans breached the wall? She was lost in her toughs but In a sudden move her mom grabbed her wrist running outside with her.
<<Hop on the horse quick>>
His father toke the horse reins, helping Isabelle and her mom hopping on it.

<<Father hop on!>>
She shouted but the father refused.
<<There is only one horse.Isabelle, don't worry about me I'll be fine somehow i will get the way to find you and your mother now run away save your self>>
He reached her forehead for one last kiss before they go.They both knew that he wouldn't make it.
<<Remember, keep looking forward>>
With this last words her mother beings to ride toward Wall Rose, while she was looking behind her back to only see her father looking at them with a wide smile, in a tentative to assure her that he would be here even if it wasn't in a physical way.

Its not her first time losing someone that was near her. She knew that one day she would experience this feeling again.
Only one thing crossed her mind.That her father sacrifice would be vain and she will owe him, even after death.
