Why would you leave me high and dry? Did you want me to cry like a baby? On the floor I am born to be someone of use for you to play with. It's not your fault that I couldn't be the one you think you'd keep. Buried in the lies behind your disguise, compromising your demise. Was this all you wanted? To leave me dull and heart broken, torn to pieces like the leaves in fall ripped apart by the kids who jump into the pile. Give me a sword in which I am ready to fight for the love I know I deserve. Trying not to cry when my life is plummeting but smile through the pain even though you're suffering. You have to make things right with your own pride and put them aside, fear is what gets you near the edge of the rope. Scared you're going to fall when you know you will win, the hope you need to have from keeping you back. Glad that it happened but sad that it's over the sorrow you feel will not re-ignite. You have to keep the light that's burning inside from going out like the heart that drained from existence.
