You, Who knew what I was going through and yet turned it all around for you too. To see is to know what lies inside and won't let me sleep at night. I drown, you frown, and within those walls leads to a dark and stormy road. Think but don't speak, your rhymes go with the beat but it's skipping while the water is dripping. What was the point if you got it wrong and didn't see past the barrier that drew you close to your heart? Do you want that to show? Is it just hard for you? To show some human decency to the ones who hang below, All the things you've done shouldn't lead to who you are. You have to find that power within, don't discourage yourself from all the possibilities that come astray. Be you, doing you and all of the things you love to the things you are afraid of. You don't want me to feel too bad and yet, I feel worse.
Tongue-tied, eyes blind trying to figure out what's next down the road for me. Speak with the truth don't bury it, Let it out without a doubt and I'll listen honestly. Don't tell me how to feel, how to act or react, you don't tell me what to do. Don't tell me to smile more, I smile plenty. Why does it matter to you? If you didn't care, why did you speak, some words are best unwritten. Think before you speak or you'll end up in the deep. Don't get too caught up and think you're the boss but not a single problem solved. My mind takes me places I don't want to go but there is control, which I don't have. A little bit of patience and a lot of hope, I'm not giving up not if you told me so.
