How. How was I supposed to walk out that door and talk to Cole after I just told him I'm a cold blooded killer?! Well? TELL ME! I lay on my bed my mind was running circles not knowing what to do, "jay.. please come out" Cole asked again, I stood up before I could stop myself, then walked to the door "listen I-" before I could finish he hugged me, SUPER tight "your secret is safe with me" I said quietly "I'm.. sorry I just... I got the job because my parents needed the money and we'll... nobody wanted ti hire a outsider... so I just..." I mumbled "I get it, but I can't really believe it, you of all people your way more misterios than I thought" he chuckled trying to lighten up the mood, I laughed, I couldn't help it, even now he still saw me as his best friend, at least I hoped so, but best friend doesn't feel right, never mind, I was just happy he didn't hate me

Coles pov

Sunset, it was beautiful today guess it was saying it's final goodbye, winter started soon and the wind was getting colder leaves we're gone and pretty soon it'll start snowing, guess Kai will be grumpy, he doesn't like cold weather, I mean come on he is the master of fire but I think winters pretty nice too, me and jay sat on the couch he was watching a tv show while I sat eating cake (obviously) when suddenly the door slammed open and it came Kai screaming "helppppppp Lloyd's going to kill me!!" "Come back here Kai!!" Lloyd screamed after him, "uh what happened?" Jay asked from the couch "Kai pushed Lloyd into the snow and it took us ten minutes to dig him out" Zane informed us, "pffffffff hahahahha! Are you kidding me?" Jay giggled like a little kid, "it's not funny!" Lloyd whined "is to!" "Is not" "is to!" They went on like this for 5 minutes Zane had to restrain Lloyd from tackling jay "meh!" Jay said sticking out his tongue "let. Me . Go!" Lloyd said as he unsuccessfully tried to kill Jay (not like he would succeed) "come on guys relax" I said annoyed about Lloyd and jays childish behavior" "yeah Lloyd aren't you supposed to be killing Kai?" Jay asked "oh right!" And with that Lloyd dashed into the hallway trying to find Kai, "well Lloyd is definitely still 12 year old" Cole joked, I giggled. Suddenly we were cut off by my phone ringing dang it what now I thought "oh! My moms calling, I need to take this" I lied, Cole nodded wow I'm I that good a lying? I thought grinning. I walked to the kitchen "where" I said simply to the phone " near the Central Park, building 17 room 22 and be there fast, we're pretty sure the target already knows your coming, there trying to escape" "got it" I put my phone away and walked to the living room "guys my mom needs me so I can't make it for dinner, sorry Zane" "it's quite ok" Zane responded calmly "thanks guys bye!" I said, I had already gotten my bag so I was rushing out the door.

I found a place to change quickly (idk where just use your imagination 🤣)  them I ran from rooftop to rooftop to get to the building, I hopped in through the window, but I guess it was too easy because I got suspicious, I heard this guy was smart, I expected better, and out of nowhere a knife launched straight at my face barely inches from my face "nvm he's smart" I mumbled looking at the trap "where is this guy anyway?" I was beginning to think he already left, but then a shuffle came from behind a stack of books "if you come out now I'll make this as less painful as I can!" I said annoyed, they didn't respond "well guess we'll have to do this the hard way" I mumbled taking out my knife, a scream went out when they saw me taking out the knife followed by footsteps out the door "I got a runner" I smirked

There not getting away that easily.....
