"No.." I said panicking. I quickly jumped out of bed and was about to call he leader when a traumatic memory suddenly came into mind
Flashback~~~~~
"PLEASE SIR MERCY" one of my teammates screamed desperately "you've had your chance" the leader of the assassin's hissed bitterly "kill them"
"NO! PLEASE I CAN BE USEFUL! PLE-"
They never got to finish
They were stabbed 10 times in the back. I can still remember the screaming.
"Useless can't believe brother keep them for so long" he sighed "lightning, come forward" he motioned me to come over
"Yes sir?" I muttered "did I say you could speak?" He asked quietly but terrifying i when silent as a small tear left my eyes, then I shook my head no. "That's what I thought" he spat out angrily " as you know in a couple of months we will begin our plan, and since you are one of my best. You will lead it, you may speak" " sir... what exactly is this... plan?" I asked nervously
"A plan that will bring down the ninja and give us assassin's the glory that we deserve"
End of flash back~~~~~
I threw down my phone trembling in fear. "If the boss found out that someone got caught.... He'll kill them. I can't let another life go to waist" I sprinted down the hallway but before I could get out Kai stopped me "where ya going?" He said suspiciously "Kai not now I've got to go" I tried my best to hide my panic but from the look on his face, he knew something was up. "Uh ok bye?" But I was already out the door
I dashed throughout the city trying to form some kind of plan. All I got was 3 things
1. Break in 2. Find the cell 3. Get out with Artemis (not the actual goddess just a name!)
When I got to the place I quickly put my hood up and jumped to a building next to it the hopped onto a window that was open. I climbed inside and without making any sort of noise walked to the prison cells
Time skip because.............. um I can? Sorry
"Lightning?" Artemis tasked amazed "come on can't have spark's crying over you dead body" I said grinning "I... owe you one" she said standing up "come on" we dashed across the hallways not making a sound "shoot, this place is crawling with guards how the hell do we get out?" She asked desperately "pfff you would not believe how I got in. They have a stupid window open with no guard's there" I said chuckling "idiots" she said silencing a laugh
I helped Artemis up and just when it looked like we were in the clear... "Who are you?!" Yelled a voice from behind us "you never saw us" I said quickly "wait a minute your the assassin! Police!" They yelled "great" Artemis muttered getting out her swords. "Wait maybe we can just nock him out?" I asked not wanting to hurt inocente people. Suddenly the door smashed open and 10 police officers came out running "we can't nock this many people out Lightning" she said slightly panicking "fine.... But don't kill them just..." "beat them up?" "I guess?"
One of the officers lunged for Artemis but she dogged easily. One of them aimed a punch to my face but just before he did I grabbed his arm and twisted it so that he fell back in pain. I reached for my daggers and sent one to one of the officers but I made it so that at the last second it wouldn't hit him instead it stabbed the wall. The officer got so scared he ran out screaming. "Some police they are" Artemis scoffed
(I'm bad at making fight scenes so please excuse the lame writing 😅)
Before anything else happens we jumped out the window and down into the allies "what are you going to do?" I asked her "as long as the boss doesn't get pissed off im fine but if he does" she slit her finger across her neck nervously "right...." "You should get back don't want the ninja getting suspicious" Artemis suggested "ok take care!" I yelled running the other direction.
Time skip again because I'm running low on motivation
As I walked into the living room Everyone stood looking at me "uh... hi?" I asked not sure what was going "Jay?! Your leg?!" Kai cried out I looked down and my leg was bleeding out. Dang no way out now I thought. Lloyd rushed up but before he could make it I already passed out.

When I saw Jays leg I ran over to him but before I could grab him his eyes shut and he fell to the ground. The next few minutes passed in a blur from Nya screaming to Cole panicking, to Zane taking Jay to his room.
I sat outside the room with everyone else when Zane came out. Everyone jumped waiting for Zane to say something. "Is he ok?" Said Kai breaking the silence "he'll be fine but I think the more important question is...
