Hello everyone this is my first time writing about httyd and I'm just going to set the scene, so this is set sort of after rtte but before httyd 2, but she looks like how she looks in httyd 3 and hiccup and Astrid have flight suits, the rest with the relationships and stuff are the same. Ok enjoy!
Astrid's pov:
It's been hard keeping this secret especially from hiccup since he is my betrothed but it has to be kept a secret it's not like I could tell him anyway he would be super mad about one the fact that I lied about it and...we'll just the whole situation. Right now im laying next to him and everything is perfect, she couldn't ruin that, but she new she had to go. Once night fell and she was sure hiccup was asleep she untangled herself from him and grabbed her stuff and left, luckily stormfly was right outside, stormfly new what was going on, she new that Astrid had a duty, not only her duty's on berk like being the future cheiftess when hiccup takes over, or being the general of berk which meant no one could oppose her battle plans other than the chief obviously. She rode out far over the hills and across the arcapeligo she had left a note for hiccup so when he woke up he wouldn't be worried, it said "hey babe I just ran out to do some shopping and a girls trip and have a sleepover with Heather I will be back in a couple days love you!" She shook her head, she couldn't think about hiccup right now, she had to get to the island, her island with her people.
