Chapter 5: Knock knock...

Ai's POV: (i felt like doing a chapter today :) oh and btw by now Len is prob 19-20 cuz idk what Ai's bday is)
"On a whim, I decided to contact the guy I broke up with." Ai is in a telephone stand calling whoever the hell she's calling...

"You know, our kids have gotten pretty big." She speaks to the telephone. "Wanna try meeting them?"

"No, I'm not trying to get back together or anything like that." She takes off her glasses and continues speaking.

"What led to it was overhearing a convo the kids were having." She thought as she remembered coming back home and hearing her kids conversation. "I try my best not to think about it..."

She would peek from the wall.

Aqua: "But I do wonder who our father is. Just thinking about it makes my heart sink."

Ruby: "You dummy. You let a little thing like that get you down?" Ruby turns on the TV. "She obviously had a virgin conception, right?" She would respond, her eyes looking at Aqua.

"She came to this odd conclusion and I thought, "Uh-oh, not good.""

Go back to present... "Our kids are super smart - I'm sure they'll understand our situation."

"Sure, so our new address is..."

Some random person who is not important to the timeline: "Oh my god! It's Ai" They look at the billboard. "Let's grab a pic!" They pull out their phones, and Ai watches

Some random person #2: "You sure do love Ai, don't you

"My work is going well. And I have over a million followers now." She'd think to herself.

"The world is watching me." She'd continue to think.

Timeskip later...
Ichigo: "Man, this is some good booze! Come on, celebrate your new digs with a drink!" Ichigo has Aqua beside him.

"Wow, that's a Moriizo!" Ai says out loud, staring at the bottle which Miyako is holding. And yes, indeed is Ruby on Ai's lap

Miyako: "Not so fast. Ai-san doesn't turn 20 until next week. Please wait just a bit longer."

Ichigo: "Ah, you're right - got me there!" Ichigo is drunk ig lmao

The TV turns on, and Ichigo jumps up. The show Ai stars in is climbing up the ratings. And B-Komachi's work is packed too.

Ichigo: "Next week, we're finally performing at a dome!" Ichigo exclaims and pulls Aqua close, his arm around his neck. ichigo very drunk 😨

"Well, he's certainly in a good mood." Ai smiles.

Miyako: "Well, it was always the president's dream to have an idol he nurtured make it to the dome." Miyako has her arms crossed and is still holding the bottle of booze. Ichigo here is laughing.

Miyako: "Well, all us staff share that dream, too."

"Are domes really that special?" Ai asks, tilting her head.

Miyako explains how much different domes are compared to other venues. How a big struggle it is to even get into the dome and the rigorous screening process of the author is suitable in the dome. These venues require big time commitment and lots of staff labor. They're stages onto which only the chosen can perform on.

Miyako: "Domes are what everyone dreams of."

"I see." Ai replies.

"When I sell well, everyone is pleased. So I'll put on an appearance of being happy, too." Ai thinks watching Miyako pouring the drink into Ichigo's glass, as well as Miyako's own glass too. As they clink their glasses together.
