It’s pouring rain outside. Even though it’s cold and the breeze entering the room through the windows is chilly, he likes it. 

He doesn’t feel cold at all, because the rain reminds him of him and he's there. And when he's there, everything is warm.

When he's around, Seokjin feels all warm inside. Every little detail about him brings warmth to Seokjin's heart - his eyes, his voice, his smile, his dimples, and, damn, how he'd love to bite those freaking cute dimples of him. 

But, here's the thing: they're best friends and Seokjin thinks it might be kinda weird to bite his best friend’s dimple since, you know, they're only friends and stuff.

Seokjin is in love with his best friend, has been for a while now but couldn't find the proper words to say it or the right moment for it. 

A few months went by and he realized it was never the right moment because it simply didn't seem right - he didn't want to ruin his friendship with Kim Namjoon, his best friend since forever, just because he has a little (actually, huge) crush on him. 

Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin are best friends since their school days. Namjoon was always the smart sensitive kid, while Seokjin was always the smart funny kid - this, of course, made them a pretty good pair, which is why they’re friends since then until now that they’re young adults.

Now, Namjoon is the type of guy who reads a lot of books and goes to the gym and likes to talk about lots of philosophical stuff - it seems pretty contradictory to Seokjin that a guy who reads also exercises, it’s unfair to be hot and smart all at the same time, he thinks to himself.

And Seokjin, well, he's Seokjin. He's talkative and he talks, even more, when he's nervous, he makes silly jokes all the time just to hear the sound of Namjoon's laugh and doesn't mind if Namjoon finds him silly, because, in the end, the marvelous sound of Namjoon's giggles pay off - it’s so good to hear him laughing, he could hear it all day.

Namjoon finds it cute when Seokjin stares at nothing, looking like his head is full of thoughts he can't quite express out loud, so, instead of interrupting the older's epiphany, he lets him be for a while.

A few minutes later he called Seokjin by his nickname because he finds it cute, not only the name but also the way Seokjin reacts to it: he gets all shy and he rarely gets shy.

"You're spacing out again, Jinnie", says.

"Sorry, I was thinking…" he doesn’t explain, because he doesn't know how to tell Namjoon he was thinking about him.

He doesn’t know how to lie to Namjoon and even if he tries, Namjoon would know it right away, so he gives up, "Nevermind”, he says.

Namjoon doesn't insist because, he knows, if Seokjin is not comfortable talking about it, it won’t do any good making him.

“So… Movie?” He asks, instead.

“Yea I’ll get popcorn! And chocolate! And jellybeans!”, Jin pauses for a moment, realizing how euphoric he is; maybe he’s exaggerating on the amount of food just for a movie, he thinks.
