Chapter 3: you do it

Finally I broke the door knob a little too late. I burst through and I stared at Rufus.

"What happened" I asked no one in particular but Rufus thought e should answer because he said

"We'll. I am using your little chosen one of a girl friend to bring back Anubis and Set." He pushed pasted me to the door knocking me to the floor. He turned and looked at Nina who was still glassy eyed and said simply. "Forget everything. I'm done with you." And ran I was going to follow but Nina fell unconscious. Great first day back at school. Right.

I untaped Nina and picked her up bridal style and ran her back to Anubis house and burst through my bedroom door startling Eddie. "Woah." He said "oh god. What happened? Eddie asked frantically

I don't know. The new teacher called Nina into his class alone. So I followed and waited outside. The teacher locked the door and so I was really worried and I could tell Nina was too." Fabian stopped as Patricia Alfie Amber KT walked in

"Anyway then. Um. Patty you know the looking box Victor used like two years ago or at least thought he did to get us like under his power to get us to do the human chess. Well when Nina woke up the teacher put the box to her face. I don't think she realized what it was because she just woke up and she was like under his power. I finally got the door open braking the lock along the way. The teacher wasn't just any teacher. It was Rufus. He some how got out of the underworld and is back. He told me he trying to brim back Anubis the Egyptian god of funerals and Set the god of evil and death. And then he told Nina to forget everything and she passed out." Fabian took a few breaths trying to calm himself

"How is he back. This is all my fault. God. I'm supposed to protect her. Great job Eddie." Eddie chided himself

The six kids stood there looking at each other as if to get answers.

All of a sudden Nina's phone rang from her jacket pocket. Patricia picked it up and read the caller. Rufus.

Answer it" KT said "pretend to be Nina. See what he wants."

"You do it" Patricia answered "you've got an American accent" KT nodded and answered the phone

"Hello my lovely Nina."
