Ok. I will admit it. It's weird having Nina share a room with Fabian and me. I mean yeah it makes life easier for Sibuna related stuff but not so much for the fact that she was a girl. Sleeping in a boys dorm room. But oh well. I am her protecter. I guess it's easier to keep an eye on her.
We needed to stop Rufus but how? what was he up to? How can he possibly bring back Gods from the Ancient days? it just doesn't make sense. I would say the gods weren't real but then I'd be lying.
A cold feeling went down my back as I remembered Ms.
Denby and her trying to awaken Amnut and the sinners.
I heard movement then saw Fabian sit up. "Did you guys feel that?" he asked
"Yeah." I said I turned on my lamp. I turned to look at Nina to see her asleep on her bed. "Well I guess she felt nothing. Long day she had."
"Yeah. So good night Eddie" Fabian said
"Night" I said back and layer back down. I groaned because I had to sit back up to turn off the lamp. Then fell back onto my bed.
The next morning "Mr. Setbis" aka Rufus Zeno was not there. my dad told us that he is taken a personal day. Free period! everyone went to their friends to chat.
all the Sibuna's gathered around Nina and Fabian. "So whats our next move?" Patricia asked
"Who knows?" Nina said "he thinks I'm trying to get to the catacombs right now. The Mask of Anubis? that was a whole year ago. What would he want down there?"
"All valid questions. Can we ever just have a simple semester for once. First Nina comes in second semester and stirs the house. The next year the mask. Nina leaves and we still have freaking issues the that semester. Now this." Alfie said
"Got it guys. Our lives our messed up. Lets move on" I said trying to get everyone's attention from blaming Nina for issues that probably would have occurred with or without her.
"So. We should go back to the catacombs." Alfie said asking everyone "we wait for Rufus and Nina pretends to be all asleep like and boom. Problem solved right?"
Maybe. Oh I sure hoped so.
