The air was cold, the wet breeze flowing through Daisy's window as she laid in bed awake. It was morning in Glen Rock New Jersey. Daisy sat up as she rubbed her head in sadness. She felt ill at the thought of her sister coming home with that asshole of a man she calls a boyfriend. "Daisy!" Daisy heard her sister yell from across the hall. Daisy quickly got onto her feet, the bare skin touching the cold wooden ground of the small bedroom she slept in. "You little bitch!" Shelly yelled at her sister, slamming Daisy's bedroom door shut once Shelly stepped inside. Already dressed for school, a per usual slutty outfit.

"You told the principle about what Doug did?" Shelly asked, crossing her arms as she glared down at her sister. Daisy was 17, a grade down from Shelly, her boyfriend, and the gang she ran with. "What are you talking about?" Daisy asked, trying to act like it never happened. Daisy had troubles of her own with Doug and his gang. Daisy had a friend, a best friend she thought, who was paralyzed from the waist down. Doug and his friends tormented him, everyday for the past 2 months since school started back up. "You snitched, Daisy. Making Doug and everyone else get in trouble. Because of what you did!" Shelly said, raising her voice at Daisy.

Shelly grit her teeth and took a step closer to her sister. "You say anything again, and you'll regret it, I swear to you!" Shelly shouted once more, before exiting Daisy's room. Shoving past their mother as she was about to knock and ask what's wrong. Daisy was already crying by the time her mother walked in, hugging onto her daughter to comfort and swell her. "They're never gonna stop." Daisy mumbled, shaking her head as more tears dripped down her cheeks. "I know hunny.. I know." Daisy's mother stroked her hair as they clung onto each other for a few minutes. "Let me drop you off at school sweetie." Her mom said, Daisy nodded and watched as her mom exited her room so Daisy could get ready for school.

Doug was sitting on the steps as he waited for Shelly to arrive at their spot before school. Hinge, Porky, Eddie, and Pink were all sitting with him, hanging onto the old rollercoaster railing. Eddie drank a bottle of whiskey as they waited with Doug. "You think Daisy's gonna be with her?" Eddie joked, slurring out the idea in his voice as the rest laughed, besides Doug. "Shut up, Eddie. Shelly never said we could touch her." Doug shook his head as the boys spoke nonsense. It was truly amazing how Daisy was the complete opposite of her sister. "Since when did you listen?" Pink laughed, hitting Hinges' side as he couldn't help but chuckle either. Doug looked back with no sign of amusement on his face. Pink instantly shut his mouth, along with the others. The group knew when Doug was pissed, and they knew when he didn't take a joke, like a joke. So they listened.

"Hey baby." Shelly said, walking up the steps to greet her boyfriend. "What took you so long?" Doug asked, sitting Shelly down on his lap, letting her ass touch every inch of his length through his pants. "Dumbass Daisy. I warned her not to tell the principle again, maybe scare her. That should show her." Shelly looked up and leaned her head on her boyfriends chest. "Good girl." Doug smirked, brushing Shelly's dirty blonde hair from out of her face to behind her ear. Kissing her lips from upside down, then standing up. "Let's head." Doug said, standing up with the others.

Daisy smiled as her mom handed her a piece of toast with butter on it. Still warm, and it could only make Daisy feel cozy inside. Daisy took a bite, getting on her white tennis shoes with breakfast in her mouth. Soon, Daisy stood, finishing off the rest of her toast, before tying up her dirty blonde hair, just like her sister. Daisy hated to look like her sister, knowing the monster Shelly became when becoming girlfriend of Doug. "Come on, let's go hunny." Mom said, guiding Daisy to the door and walking together outside in the morning air. The sun hit the two women's face, warming their skin against the cold air. Daisy opened the door to her mother's tan Volkswagen, and sat inside. The two headed off once her mom got the car started.

Doug and Shelly leaned up against the lockers as Pink and Eddie laughed and gawked about something. Doug was in his own thoughts, thinking of what Shelly said earlier that morning. A way to scare Daisy. Her goody two shoes of a look alike. "Baby... you listening?" Shelly asked, nodding over to the left as the group looked up to see Daisy. Daisy saw them staring, making her nervously look away. Praying in her head she didn't awake something in their minds. "Hey shithead." Shelly said, walking up to her sister once Daisy stopped at her locker. Daisy looked over as the group stood behind Shelly. "What do you want?" Daisy asked her sister, looking towards Shelly, then looking up to see the familiar face everyone knew in school. "Just wanted to make sure you ain't out snitching and causing problems in everyone's lives." Shelly smirked as she knew Daisy got flustered and upset easily. "Is that all? Because I didn't need you to bring all of your buddies along. Especially the lowlife ones." Daisy said, smiling as Shelly's smirk faded.

"What's going on here?" Daisy heard from the side, Glenn, her best friend paralyzed from the waist down just like her father, appeared next to her. "Aww look, it's wheelchair boy. How cute, saving the day an all." The group cooed, making Daisy shut her locker and stand near Glenn. "Just leave us alone, alright? Or I'll go back to the principle." Daisy quickly threatened, turning around with Glenn to walk back down the hall. "We'll see about that!" Shelly yelled, not concerning Daisy as she ignored them. Daisy tried her best not to get upset by their threats and words. "You okay? What happened?" Glenn asked by her side, Daisy shrugged and shoved her hands in her pockets. "Just don't worry about it. I'll be okay. Shelly's my sister, what would she really let her friends do?" Daisy tried shaking off the uneasy feeling she had. But she couldn't help but try to act tough around their gang. They were assholes. They didn't deserve her attention, not even if it was bad or good.

"Does she always act tough?" Hinge asked Shelly as they walked off. "No, she's just scared. Like I said, you scare her enough. She'll be bending down to kiss your feet." Shelly chuckled, making the others laugh as Doug smirked just a little. Not much phased, Doug. Just the pain and fights that came along with being a gang. Especially bullying others, it phased him since he loved acting above everyone else. "Come on baby, time to go." Shelly said, knocking Doug from his thoughts as the bell rang. "See you later." Doug kissed Shelly's lips as they walked off together without Shelly.
