When the birds started chirping outside Steve was shocked just how hard it was to share a bed with a thirteen-year-old.
Dustin moved around more in his sleep than he normally did when he was awake.
Steve quietly got up and found Billy awake as well sitting on the small couch across from the couch bed.
Max was spread out over both sides of the bed sleeping away.
Getting up Billy met Steve in the small kitchen and groaned. "Got kicked out of bed as well," Billy asked as he scoured the fridge.
He stacked eggs and bacon on the counter as Steve said "Yeah literally" and found the pans so Billy wouldn't just dig through everything to find them.
Placing some oil and spatulas down Steve left the kitchen to Billy's discretion.
He watched Billy flawlessly break the eggs and then in a first he added the bacon on top of the eggs. While that was cooking he got more eggs out and cracked them over the bacon.
As that sizzled away Billy grabbed a couple of oranges from the fruit basket, found the juicer and sat there and made freshly squeezed orange juice all the while his eyes never left the egg condition sizzling away.
As soon as he had the orange juice in the fridge he turned around and flipped the eggs and then got down glasses and filled each with ice and the juice he had taken out without Steve even noticing.
Within seconds six glasses of iced orange juice was at the table and he was plating the eggs and bacon.
Placing the plates with the glasses he got out forks and a couple of different sauces and placed them on the table as well.
"Breakfast is ready," Billy said loud enough to wake the entire apartment building but it did the trick.
Max and Dustin were dragging themselves to the table and Nancy and Robin slowly made their way to the table their eyes widening as they took in the smells filling the apartment.
"You made this Billy" Robin said looking at Steve and then said, "Hey Nance maybe we should just live here with them". Nancy nodded with a laugh.
"I don't like Max going to school without eating so I get up every morning and make her something that's quick and easy," Billy said as he stuffed his mouth with egg and bacon.
They all started eating amazed at how amazing it tasted. Only Steve knew how fast Billy was able to make it and it made it even more delicious to him.
"This is fresh," Nancy said as she took a drink of the orange juice.
"It's cheaper than buying it and plus I get a workout," Billy said with a grin.
"I wanna watch that workout sometime," Nancy and Robin said at the same time. Both girls kept from laughing as Steve shot them a real look of jealousy.
When they were finished Max and Dustin headed back to Steve's room to play more Nintendo while the older kids sat around the living room.
Billy stayed back and cleaned up the kitchen and the breakfast dishes.
"Fuck it Harrington if you're not going to make a move Nancy and I are going to kidnap your soul mate and keep him for ourselves," Robin said as she sipped at the orange juice she had brought with her.
"I mean he cooks, he clean, he cares for Max, and so on. On another note, I can't believe that they are closing the mall for three days due to that sewage leak but at least we get paid" Robin continued.
Billy finally joined them with a beer in hand. "Yeah, my work is close to the mall so I get a few days off myself. Maybe I will take Max to the bowling alley in the city" Billy said, taking the top off and taking a drink.
