"The area should be right around here..." Dan Heng muttered, glancing at his device, which looked like a phone but was clearly much more.

"The area where you lost contact with Arlan?" Y/N asked, walking beside him.

"Mhm, and it looks like we need to head to the upper levels," Dan Heng replied, scanning the surroundings.

Y/N resisted the urge to be frustrated—his usual anger dampened by a calming aura that always seemed to surround him. He decided to speed things up. Finding Arlan was the priority.

"There's a staircase on the far right," Y/N noted. "It probably leads to the upper levels."

Without waiting, Y/N made his way toward the stairs, with Dan Heng following closely behind. But before they could ascend, a Voidranger leapt out of the shadows and slashed at Y/N. Initially, he shrugged it off, but then he felt something unusual—something familiar.

The Voidranger's blade almost bypassed his infinity. However, Y/N quickly reacted and punched the ranger away, a dent appearing in its helmet and Dan Heng would also react by throwing her spear at the Voidranger and into its chest, causing it to burst into particles.

'That thing would've bypassed my infinity if I hadn't reacted in time, and those blades on its arms...' Y/N thought to himself, but his thoughts soon left as he heard Dan Heng's concern.

"Satoru, are you alright?" Dan Heng said, soon picking up her spear and went over to Y/N to make sure he was alright.

"I'm fine, don't worry about it." Y/N quickly responded and would dust himself off.

"If you say so..." Dan Heng said, uncertainty laced in her voice.

The duo would walk up the stairs, soon heading to Arlan last was.

Down at the lower levels, Stelle and March walked around the elevator, inspecting its panel. March tapped it experimentally.

"Ah, I knew it..." she muttered, her disappointment evident.

"Is it broken?" Stelle asked.

"Not my fault! The Antimatter Legion must've broken it!" March quickly defended herself. "Too bad Dan Heng's not here—he's like a walking encyclopedia. He probably even knows how to fix an elevator."

Just as she finished speaking, a familiar voice cut in. "I don't know that one."

Dan Heng and Y/N had appeared, seemingly out of nowhere.

"Whoa! Why are you here?" March exclaimed. "And how did you two get here before us?"

"We took a different route to the upper level," Dan Heng explained calmly. "I saw you from up there. Arlan's in the control room. He's injured, but it's not fatal."
