1) Put on some music and lip sync to it. Something with a nice beat or just your favorite song and pretend like you're in a music video. Try to make it seem like you're actually singing it. Dance with the music or just pretend you're singing at a concert. Just make sure to lock your door and pull down those blinds, for some privacy.
2)Try on some clothes. Take a peek into your closet and bring out all the clothes you don't usually wear. Try them on, see if they fit. Make new outfits and add accessories. If one of your family members has clothes your size, try those on, too. Just don't forget to put them back!
2.5) Dress up like the opposite gender. If you have any clothes that remind you of the opposite gender, or if you have a sibling that is not your gender, try them on and see if you like dressing up that way.
2.6) Play dress up! If you have a favorite character, try to dress up like them. If their costume is too elaborate, find clothes that might make you look like that character in casual clothes. Use your imagination!
3) Play some video games. There are plenty of games online, and many websites are dedicated to free, time-consuming flash games of varying genres. Beat records on games you already have and rediscover the ones sitting in your closet collecting dust. If you have the money, buy some new ones.
3.5) Play some board games. If you don't have any video games, bust out some board games. Even though you don't have any one to play with, bend the rules to play by yourself! Or, create imaginary people to play with.
3.6) Get new apps on your phone. If you don't have any board games or video games, bust out that trusty smart phone of yours. Play with some apps you might already have or visit the app store and discover some new ones!
4) Do some chores. Sure, it's not fun and not the coolest thing you could be doing, but if you're procrastinating, you'll thank me later. Complete that homework assignment you've been putting off, vacuum the floors, mow the lawn. Maybe it's dull, but you'll definitely pass some time and fast if you're waiting for something, and the next person to come home will appreciate the helping hand. Bonus points if you put music on while you work.
4.5) Organize. If you don't have any chores to do, reorganize your room. It's time consuming, but it could be fun if you're into that. Maybe you'll find some things you've lost a while ago! Plus, redecoration is a nice change of pace. Look up some ways you can redecorate on Pinterest and YouTube. Show off your creativity.
5) Write. It doesn't have to be a story. Jot down some ideas, make lists of anything, start a journal, write down your feelings, write what you did today, write what you dreamed of last night, or write what you think your pet did while it was alone but make it awesome! Use your imagination.
6) Act out a monologue. Even if you're not an actor, this is still a fun thing to do. Look up a script for one person, any genre, and act it out. Or, you can look up a script for two or three and act out the other person's part yourself! Add characterization to the character, and record yourself, if you're comfortable with that.
7) Make a blanket fort. Grab all the pillows, blankets, chairs, and couch cushions you can find and create a fort. Look up internet guides (suggestion: look up How To Create a Blanket Nest) or just create one from your imagination. Decorate the inside with stuffed animals and bring a flashlight and some form of entertainment. Just don't forget to put everything back!
8) Read. If you have books lying around that you want to read but haven't gotten the chance to, this is your chance. Rediscover old books, dig through your family members' book collections, flip through magazines, look for webcomics online by independent artists, or read some Japanese manga. Brew yourself some tea, turn on some nice music, and crawl into that blanket fort you made from number 7 and proceed with number 8.
9) Experiment with your hair. No matter how short or long your hair is, try messing around with new hairstyles. Put your hair up, curl it, straighten it, braid it, wear hats, adorn it with clips, dye it. Find something new!
10) Experiment with make up. Try out new colors, do up your eyes, color your eyebrows, go for a dramatic look, a light look, a dark look. Find something new!
11) Update old WIP's. C'mon, stop procrastinating. If it looks bad, make it look good. If you're bored now, here's your chance to work on those!
12) Pretend you're in a zombie apocalypse.
12.5) Pretend you're on a spy mission.
12.6) Pretend there are bad guys everywhere.
