Prologue

Smallville - Earth-Prime

Lois: Hey Clark?

Clark rushes downstairs.

Clark: Yeah?

Lois: You ready to drive Jonathan to school?

Clark: Yeah.

Before Clark and Lois could get Jonathan, Clark hears an explosion, it sounds like a meteor entering the atmosphere.

Lois: What is it.

Clark: Something's about to crash on our farm.

Then suddenly. Boom. A small pod crash lands on the Kent farm.

Clark and Lois go outside and see smoke coming from the cornfields.

Clark: Stay here, Lois.

Clark goes outside and levitates towards the pod. Clark lands on his feet and notices that the pod's door is nearly translucent. Clark looks through it and sees some kind of device.

Clark opens the pod gets the device and flies back to the house.

Clark: Drive Jonathan to school, I'll bring this to the D.E.O.

Lois: What is it?

Clark: I don't know, but maybe me and Kara can figure it out.

Lois: Okay.

Clark nods and flies away.

Department of Extranormal Operations National City Headquarters, National City - Earth Prime

Clark enters the HQ looking for Kara.

Clark: Where's Kara?

J'onn: In Midvale for a family vacation.

Clark: Tell her to be here right now.

Danvers Home, Midvale - Earth-Prime

Eliza: Kara, Alex, the lasagna is ready.

Kara and Alex come to the dining table and sit down.

Eliza: Let's say grace, shall we.

Suddenly, Kara's phone rings.

Kara: Sorry, I'll pick it up.

Kara: Hello? J'onn. Why, what is it?

Alex: Kara?

Kara: I'm so sorry, but I need to get back to the D.E.O.

Alex: Wait, why?

Kara: A pod crash landed on my cousin's farm.

Alex: From Krypton?

Kara: No, but it's origins are extraterrestrial.

Alex: Then I'm coming with you.

Kara: No, you stay here with mom until I get back.

Alex: Fine

Kara: Bye guys.

Kara flies away and heads back to HQ.

Kara lands in front of the HQ and goes inside.

Kara: What is it?

Clark: It's this.

Kara: Oh Rao, what is that.

Clark: I don't know.

As soon as Clark touches it, the device turns on and a hologram plays. The face of the deliverer look cracked, it's eyes glow red, and it's physique is tall and muscular. It then begins to speak.

"Greetings, people of earth. I am Darkseid. Armageddon is coming to this world. This world has been my interest ever since it's emergence. This world will fall, crumble, and I will bring it to it's knees"

The look of shock in Clark, Kara, and the entirety of the D.E.O was all visible.

J'onn: Armageddon?

Kara: If this is really happening, then we need to prepare.

The Monitor then appears out of thin air.

Monitor: Indeed.

Kara: The Monitor?

Monitor: A crisis is coming to this world, and it's mightiest heroes need to come together once more.

Clark: Crisis?

Kara: Then we need to prepare.

Monitor: In a week from now, Darkseid will attack this world. You win, you all go back to your lives. You lose, Darkseid will enslave this world forever.

Monitor: Everyday before his arrival, he will send Paradooms and one of his members from his elite to attack.

Kara: We saved the multiverse before, surely we can save our world.

J'onn: Do you have anything more to say?

Monitor: That's all I have, for now. But, we need to stop wasting time and prepare for what could be the fight of your lives, even greater than the fight against the Anti-Monitor.

Clark: We'll be ready.

The Monitor nods and disappears.

Clark: So that's the cue right?

Kara: Yeah. Call the team.
