After hours. ( Readers Pov )⚠️

When the last bell of school rang for the week, I felt ill. I packed my things into my bag and even before I put my headphones on I felt a hand on my shoulder. It didn't startle me as I felt a presence behind me prior to the hand on my shoulder. I turned and saw Kiyo. He smiled at me and I smiled back. "..I wanted to make it up to you, would you like to accompany me to the library together on sunday? I can read you more anthropological texts. There was a new novel coming out by my favorite writer." He covered his mouth, Kiyo was always nervous about over sharing his passion with me. I never knew why. I laughed it off. "..Sure- But you don't have anything to make up to me! Accidents happen..I just- I'm sorry if I've been off this week it's just I'm so worried about the talent exam and if your sister is going to step back in!" Kiyo sighed through his nose and pulled some hair accents behind his ear. "..I know you must still be struggling with such a stressful situation but I do not think my dear-...my..my sister would be willing to step back in because of the..situation she is present in." He winked to me and I nodded. I zipped up my bad and flung it over my shoulder as I glanced to Miu, Kokichi, Gonta and Keebo waiting at the door. "Thank you again for the offer Kiyo that was super sweet of you..! Well see ya!" I hugged him quickly as he had no time to react to it. I shuffled my way to the group of friends that had been gathered at the door waiting for me. "Your boyfriend isn't coming?" Miu commented looking to Kiyo who was awkwardly standing at my desk still holding his phone out in front of his face. "Remember? The incident with his sister this morning? She is going to want to speak to him about hanging out with us.." Kokichi giggled. "Did you find my acting amusing R/N?" Kokichi smirked to me putting his hands behind his head. "You did over exaggerate! Although it wasn't awful." Kokichi scoffed still keeping a smile on his face. "Rude!" Keebo opened the front classroom door for everyone, Gonta walked out with Kokichi as I glanced to Kiyo once more. Still on his phone, he took one glance over at me as well. He waved. It couldn't not make me smile, it was Kiyo! The guy I most definitely did not like! I made my way out of the classroom with Keebo and Miu behind me. I couldn't help but ponder the entire time us five were walking together. Kokichi was striking up each conversation as we walked but all I could think about was Miyadera? She didn't even try to back talk Kokichi. Let alone see Kiyo after class. I had to wonder what she had been thinking, maybe it was too far?
         We were out of the school and down Keebo's street, we had stopped at the convince store to pick up snacks and drinks, although I hadn't said a word sense we were at school, Miu took a notice of this as I was walking in the back of the group. She unscrewed her bottle of royal milk tea and took a sip of it. She threw her arm around my shoulder as the milk tea dangled from her hand lightly pressing my shoulder. "..What's up? You've been quieter than my mom when she has sex with my dad." I chuckled blowing it off, I fiddled with the plastic around the ramune bottle I got. "..Come on. Is it something with Miyadera again? Don't even worry about her! Out of sight out of mind okay?" It didn't work, as much as Miu always tried to cheer me up, this wasn't working. I looked at her, she frowned as her attempts did not work. "..So it's about Miyadera?" She asked; I nodded. "Talent Exam?" Shook my head. "Drug problem?" Shook my head. "Her manipulative tactics!?" Shook my head. "..Okay then..it's something with Kiyo then?" Nodded my head. "..I want to say that it's something to do with her controlling his relationships." "Not exactly, I protect Kiyo more then she does when it comes to bullying! She restricts his friends to so little! Obviously she cant do anything about me because I've been in his life for so long..! He deserves other friends..like you guys- although now she would restrict Kokichi from even coming near Korekiyo!" Her eyes widened. "..Damn she's that hardcore?! Fuck I would NOT want her to be my sister." I chuckled in response. "..You think I like knowing she's Kiyo's sister!?" We both laugh as we walk to Kiyo's front door behind the others. Gonta—like a gentleman—is holding the door for us. "Thank you Gonta!" I said, Miu walked in without a word. We got in and immediately Kokichi went down into Keebo's basement. Keebo following not far behind him. I slid off my shoes at the door as Keebo's father greeted us at the door. Gonta looked to me and Miu as he held the basement door open. "..Thank you Gonta!" I said, Miu heading downstairs before me. Gonta tapped my shoulder before I took a step down the stairs. "..Couldn't help but notice..R/N seems a bit down, ever sense we left class." I smiled lightly to him. "..Haha- You and Miu both have big hearts. I am okay..but thank you!" He nodded as we both walked downstairs.
        Once the two of us got downstairs, Kokichi was chasing Keebo around with one of the couch pillows as Miu grabbed a white and black blanket. Gonta walked over to Kokichi and Keebo and picked up Kokichi to make him stop. I shuffled my way to Miu as the three boys talked it out. Kokichi always joked around like that, Keebo always took it way to seriously. "..Thank you for cheering me up Miu.." I said, she smiled to me as she picked up the blanket she wanted to find. "Don't mention it!" She laid the blanket on the ground and spread it out fully, Keebo had made sure that the blanket was fully flat before gathering pillows to set down on it. Although Kokichi messed the blanket up a bit by kicking the edges of it with his toes. Keebo wasn't so happy about it which led to more bickering between the two. I sat down with my snacks next to Gonta as Miu switched through the movies. "Keebo! Kokichi shut up! God! You guys are louder than my god damn self-made vibrator!" Kokichi sneered. "..Aren't you the self proclaimed ultimate genius! Get this- If your vibrator is louder than us might as well just put on a show for the entire world by moaning!" Miu turned to Kokichi gripping the remote, she practically almost threw it at him. "At least people would enjoy listening to me jerk off you uncircumcised Mr Munch wanna be!" Kokichi sat next to her with Keebo sitting beside me. He waved as I waved back, the two continued to bicker. Gonta took the remote from Miu's hand and handed it to me so I could hand it to Keebo. Keebo scrolled through the movies and clicked on 'SharkNado' one of Kokichi personal favorites because of how badly the sharks were animated. He put the remote to the side of him, the movie began to start, Keebo got up to dim the lights and turn on the fairy lights lined up behind the tv to make it more scenic. He sat back down as it was quieter now. That would soon change as Kokichi had a habit of talking through movies. These four were more like family than anything. I felt comfortable enough to just be myself around them.
     An hour into the movie I was laying on my stomach scrolling on my phone, Kokichi kept making comments as Gonta shushed him. Keebo had gone upstairs to change into pajamas. Miu..she fell asleep leaning onto Gonta. Long week for her I supposed. I almost shut off my phone to watch the movie with Kokichi and Gonta, although my phone buzzed. It was Kiyo. I immediately sat up, catching the attention of Gonta AND Kokichi. I didn't mean to, it was an accident. I looked at my phone as I looked away from them. His message is what shocked me the most.
