Serena's POV

It was the first day of Warped Tour today, and I was nervous as hell. I was always like this on the first day of each tour Of Mice & Men had. I wasn't necessarily the best when it comes to meeting new people, or just simply being around them. I'm a very shy person, obviously.

I'm pretty sure the only reason I haven't quit is because of my best friend, Jacey. Ever since we got the job as merch girls, we've grown close. I had met her the first time Of Mice and Bring Me, who she works for, first toured together. At first, me being the shy person I was, wouldn't talk to her, but finally I did.

"Serena!", I heard someone shout in the bus, making me jump. I've always been jumpy when it comes to loud noises.

"What?", I yelled back as I peeked my head out of my bunk. I saw both Alan and Austin coming my way.

"We're at the first show," Alan informed, "and we're gonna go out to eat breakfast with the bands before we have to start."

"Alright," I nodded my head, "sounds like a plan."

"So, I suggest getting ready, unless you wanna go like that.", Austin chuckled, and I looked down at my apparel. I had on a pair of sweat pants along with a plain black tank top. I was positive my hair was a mess, along with my make up from last night. It wasn't unusual for me to fall asleep with make up on, really.

It was an old habit that I had picked up throughout my lazy years. But you know that they say, old habits die hard.

"Alright.", I finally said as I pushed the curtain to my bunk completely open. I jumped out of my bunk, being careful to not fall. I've done that before, and trust me it is not in any way fun to fall out of a bunk.

I quickly grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans, an old Slipknot shirt, and a beanie. Yes, a beanie. I like my beanies, face it.

"When are we leaving?", I yelled as I walked into the bathroom of the bus. I quickly ran a brush through my hair before putting the beanie on over it.

"As soon as you're ready!", Austin shouted in return which only made me quickly shut the door to the bathroom so I could get dressed. I hated it when they practically depended on me. Like, depending on me to sell merch, I'm fine with that. But this? Not so much..

I sighed as I swung the door open to the bathroom, going to grab my boots. I always dress like it's fucking winter, get over it.

Once I had my boots on, I walked towards the front of the bus where the band was sitting.

"Alright. I'm ready."
