-CHAPTER 37-

Amber POV:

"Oh come on! What the fuck!? Why would I say that about you!? You're my best friend! I can't believe that you think that I would do that!" I yelled at Chaeryeong. We were having a fight in my studio after she "confronted" me for "bitching about her behind her back". I never did that! She said that I said shit about her to a staff and that staff was the good guy and told her all that I "bitched" about her. What the fuck? Why the fuck is everything like this for me? My life can never go well for even a second.

Tears were brimming in my eyes and threatening to fall. "Come on Chaer. Please, believe me. I swear I didn't bitch about you. I would never do that to you..." I said with a shaky voice. "I'm done." And she walked out crying. I just stood there, in silence, staring at the door. The door through which my best friend just walked out off ending our friendship. I started crying and sat on my chair. 

It had been an hour in which I cried, stopped crying and comforted myself, started working on my computer and doing something productive rather than crying. I was working on beats and this amazing beat just hit me. I quickly started working on it and it sounded amazing. I smiled after a part of it was done. My phone started ringing, "Tell me why, ain't nothin' but a heartache~" Hearing my ringtone, I Want It That Way, I picked up my phone to see it was my elder brother.

CALL -------

Amber : Hey, what's up

James : I have...some news...it's not good news

Amber : What do you mean? Is everything alright?

James : It's grandma and grandpa...they're in the hospital...

Amber : What!? What happened? Why are they in the damn hospital James?!

James : They were driving back home and...got into an accident...they're in surgery and the doctors say they don't know if they'll make it...

Amber : But- how? Why?

James : I'm sorry sis...we just reached the hospital...

Amber : I- how's mom and dad?

James : She's crying, real bad and so is Jamey...they're both really scared.

Amber : Just...say them that they'll be alright...they will be fine...right?

James : I hope so...I'll be right here and I'll call you if we get any update, alright?

Amber : Alright, promise you'll call.

James : I promise I'll call if we find out anything.

Amber : Thanks so much bro, really. 

James : It's alright. I'm gonna go to mom and Jamey now and try to stop them crying. Love you.

Amber : Love you too bro. Bye.

James : Bye

END CALL -------

I started tearing up, now my grand parents was in the hospital and I can't do anything. My life sucks so damn bad. Nothing can ever go right. They're gonna be alright, I mean, how serious could it be right? I decided to work on my computer but I kept my phone right next to me. 

I finally got the call from James and answered it immediately.

CALL -------

Amber : How are they?

James : They just came out of surgery but...the doctors say it's not looking too good. They have to perform another surgery tonight.

Amber : Are any of them awake?
