6 year later

Phuwin " Pov "

It's been 6 years already when I was thrown out of my house and lived with Dunk and till today I'm thankful to Dunk and his family for taking me in and treating me like their own son. I'm 22 years old now and had a stable job in a Cafe Corner not so far , not so near from Dunk's house. The paid is good and I love doing my job. It gave me a chance to interact with many people and never in a million years would I thought that I would love interacting with other people. I never thought that taking to people will give me so much joy.

Dunk is 23 years old now and now currently working in his father's company. Dunk family also invite me to work in their company but i declined cause I don't wanna cause any burden to them and plus I was not really interested in company thing.
But even if we work in different field , me and Dunk always meet during their lunch time , actually Dunk would often come to the cafe where I work in his free period since the cafe is only 20 minutes walk from their company.

Dunk : seriously Phu , don't you wanna work in the company instead. The pay is also good;

Phuwin : I told you before Dunk , I'm really thankful for you offering but as I told you before I'm not really interested in company things , sorry:⁠-⁠\

Dunk : it's okay , don't say sorry. I'm not forcing you....but just incase you do don't hesitate to tell me k.

Phuwin : thank you so much Dunk. You and your family have been very good to me since the very beginning I can't thank you enough and I feel like I own you guys alot already

Dunk : naaa - nahhh don't say thank you and don't say like that Phu , you are like a family, I mean you are a family member now , plus we're best of best friend and like a brother now :⁠-⁠)

Phuwin : seriously Dunk , I can't thank you enough, I'm forever grateful towards you and your family.

Dunk : it's okay nahhh Phu , don't thank us anymore, you have thank us enough plus even us we are grateful to you when you took care of Ma when she was sick , since Pa and me were busy with the company work.

Phuwin : Mrs Boonprasert is like a mother to me too , so it was my duty to take care of her plus she have already took so much care for me too.

Dunk : Phu , call her Ma too , she even told you to call her Ma ...
Well gotta go now , lunch break is almost over , Bye Phu , we'll meet at home k , byeeee....

Phuwin : Bye Dunk , and I'll try calling her Ma from now onwards :⁠-⁠)

~ Time really do goes fast when I talk with Dunk , even though we always meet at home and in work place too , we never go out of topic to talk about , somehow or the other new things always pop out when we are going out of topic.
Taking about topic, i remember Dunk want me to introduce to his friend who he said he's been taking for 2 months and was also working in his father's company. I can feel the vibe that Dunk like this guy cause when he talk to me about him , his eyes literally shine bright , although I'm not a love expert or have any experience in love but anyone can notice the expression in Dunk face when he talk about his friend , if I'm not mistaken i think he said he's name was Joong.
I hope Joong will feel whatever Dunk feels for him and not break his heart...

And me too when will I get to feel this love thing ? (⁠+⁠_⁠+⁠) although my job requires meeting a lot of new people I never met anyone who I'm personally interest with.
Plus I'm too scared.... scared of getting my heart broken again.
