Kenji's POV: I am so worn out from accompanying Daisuke the night before that when the twinkling alarm goes off, I groggily use my hand to locate my iPhone without moving my upper body. This is because I was accompanying Daisuke the night before.
He seemed content, but I couldn't help but feel irritated that he had to tell me what he wanted, which was tiresome. It's strange because Daisuke eats carnivorous food and plays games, and he strangely scratches my scruffy hair, which is unnecessary...
I remember meeting Tatsumi and his younger sister Kasumi in Nagakubo Park yesterday. I remember that it was a tumultuous beginning for our relationship. Even so, things finally settled down, although it was the first time they had seen Daisuke, the dragon human, which alarmed them.
After that, Daisuke made things much more difficult by grabbing Kasumi and launching them into the air. I have no idea what the dragon is contemplating, but I'm starting to worry that our connection with Tatsumi may be negatively impacted due to what has happened...
My right hand felt a vibrate through my nerves as I blindly turned off the alarm and groaned because I hated waking up in the morning... I'd rather sleep like a sleeping beauty...
It was 8:33 in the morning when I looked at the clock. Even though it is typical for everyone to get up at this time, most likely between 7 and 9 a.m., people in Japan get up much earlier than before beginning their day. They get up at 5 a.m. or even earlier than 4:30 a.m.
But despite how much I hated getting up, I had to force myself to make breakfast for Daisuke before I got out of bed. I slid off the bed, and it pounded when my body hit the ground. Even though it's silly, it's my idiotic method of coercing myself to get up as soon as possible, rather than the way I should be, which is to watch a few videos on YouTube.
As I rummaged through the drawers for my socks and underwear before making my way to the closet to choose what I would wear today, my mouth opened wide with a gigantic yawn that remained muffled.
After I had finished gathering them, I went to the bathroom to take a shower that was around room temperature. Yes, it's lukewarm to slightly warm, and the temperature is just right for rousing me completely.
You may be perplexed as to why I brought my garments into the bathroom with me? Well, that's because I'm too lazy to get out of the shower with my towel wrapped around my hips; therefore, it's simple for me to take my clothing and change it inside the bathroom after a shower without any fuss.
