Class passed painfully slow, and when the bell finally rang Jackson rushed out of the stifling room, wanting to get to Biteology. Chances were that they weren't going to be learning anything interesting for at least a week, but it was still a favorite for Jackson.
'Nerd,' Holt joked, feeling Jackson's faint excitement for the next class, which was quickly squashed by the comment.
Arriving in Biteology early, Jackson took one of the many empty seats and pulled their cophin back out.

Jackson frowned, looking up and blinking at the sight of Frankie sitting beside them, "Oh, hi," they greeted. Glancing around Jackson caught sight of Draculaura and Clawdeen sitting in front of them, with Ghoulia and Cleo behind them. Jackson bluescreened for a second.
They'd never really made friends this fast. Especially not friends that were basically rulers of the school. It was a little ominous, like something bad was going to happen with this much good fortune.
