After talking to Charlie and explaining what happened in the battlefield. Storm and Bella left their house and headed to Billy's as promised.
Bella pulls up to see the whole pack, Billy, and the trio outside with worry on their faces. Bella quickly hops out of the truck, almost forgetting to put it in park if it wasn't for Storm, and runs over to Billy.
Bella cringes from the cries of Jake inside of the house. Billy grabs the girl's hands. "It's been going on for awhile." Quil tells the two, Storm pulls Clara away from Paul to bring her into a hug, Camden and Jai follows.
"Carlisle and that other vampire are re-breaking his bones." Camden mumbles before they pull away.
"Why he'd have to butt in?" Leah shakes her head in disappointment as she stares at the house. "I could have taken that tick-"
"Oh, give it a rest, Leah." Paul snaps, Jai sends him a glare when he sees his girlfriend's face. Leah leans against Jai's chest after he walks to her.
"Paul..." Clara steps away from Storm, letting Seth take her place, and presses her hand on his bare chest to calm him down.
Storm lifts her head away from Seth's when the door opens and Carlisle and Maria step outside with Sam.
Carlisle looks at the pack as Maria moves towards the stairs and to the familiar hybrid, not feeling comfortable being around the shapeshifters and vice versa.
"The worst is over. He'll be alright," Carlisle speaks. "His bones are healed properly, thanks to Maria." The pack glances at the newborn who was staring at the ground behind Storm.
Carlisle looks over at Storm and Bella and motions behind him with his head. "He's asking for the both of you."
Storm glances at Bella who was anxious to be by his side. "Go." It took only that before the brunette girl basically runs inside to check on Jake.
Storm turns to Carlisle and Maria. "Where's Bree?"
"Back at ours." Carlisle tells her, "I felt like it was best if we left her seeing our temporary visit here would make the pack feel...uncomfortable." He sucks in a breath as he eyes the pack in his peripheral vision.
Storm nods her head and looks at Maria who was still having an eye contest with the ground, "I know that you're still hesitant to trust us," She starts causing Maria to look up, Storm smiles. "But, you're in good hands now. We're not like Riley and Victoria." She assures the girl.
"...we won't be forced to do anything?" Maria hesitantly asks, her hands playing with the ends of her sleeves.
Carlisle gives her a warm smile, "Let's head back and I'll explain the rules of our Coven to you and Bree." Maria turns to him and slowly nod.
