"No broken bones..." Carlisle says Storm who was laying on the bed in his office. His cold hands helps her sit up, pressing gently on her sides to feel her ribs.
Storm exhales, side eyes Edward as he stands across from them with his arms crossed.
"Are you feeling any pain?" Carlisle asks Storm who was laying on the bed in his office. His cold hands gently wraps on her arm as he stables himself to check her vitals.
Storm glances at Edward once more. Her head shakes watching Carlisle nod his, taking a step back. This was her fiftieth check up with Carlisle with the same questions. Though she knows he means well, she'd be lying if she said it wasn't a bit irritating.
She thought they were pass the uneasiness of her being pregnant. Seeing as it's been fourteen weeks since they've found out and she was completely healthy looking with no signs of death.
Yes.
Fourteen weeks, but her stomach looks a little past her second trimester. The only good thing was that the growth of her stomach was slowing down.
Storm also has been showing slight differences to accustom to her protruding belly. And by that, she means putting on weight that contributed to her pregnancy.
Her arms gotten more meat, thighs finally touching after years of having a thigh gap and according to her husband — and Clara and Bella — her boobs gotten plumped and ass gotten fatter.
Storm was just grateful that her facial structure stayed the same. She wouldn't know what would happen if she had a pregnancy that change her completely.
That's a lie.
The hybrid would cry every day and blame Edward.
Carlisle sighs looking between the couple, a small smile on his lips. "Everything seems to be okay. Let me write down your vitals and then you two can go." Edward and Storm mumbles an okay as the older vampire walk to his desk.
Storm playfully rolls her eyes, pulling down her shirt. "I told you we were gonna be okay. We have a healthy baby."
Edward shakes his head. "We still don't know how the baby's gonna come out." Storm frowns.
"Why do you always do that?"
Carlisle glances at them as they talk.
"Bring up the possibilities of our child turning into a monster. Can't we just enjoy this? You said we're in this together, Edward. It doesn't feel like it though."
The corner of his lips turn downwards when he sees her upset face. The last thing he wanted was to make his wife feel like she's alone in this.
He sighs, grabbing her hand. "I'm sorry, love. I'm just...I'm just worried for the unknown."
"He isn't a monster." Storm tells him, crossing her arms, a frown still drawn on her lips.
"He?" Edward tilts his head at the hybrid, she nods.
