It's been a few weeks since the dinner where Nick came out to the group, and things couldn't be better.
Me and nick are closer and happier with each passing day, Elle and Tao are doing great, Isaac's Isaac-ing which seems to be going well for him, and Charlie's got rid of Ben for good (no he didn't kill him, he blocked him.)
Nicks bruises have fully healed now, Harry's have as well, but he's left with a scar on his forehead and his nose is just a little wonky now.
We've also met two new friends, who are slowly becoming a part of the group. Tara and Darcy are a couple Elle met in her form and they seem to be getting along great with everyone really well.
I'm currently sitting with nick on his sofa, his arm draped around me. With a now heavily pregnant Nellie lying on the floor in front of us.
Y/N: you ok Love?
Nick: mhm
He kisses my forehead. I love it when he does that, it's just so CUTE. Ugh what's happened to me? Nick Nelson's turned me into a simpy little lover girl
Y/N: This movies so confusing
Nick: it's a masterpiece!
Y/N: no. Just no.
Nick: IRON MAN IS A MASTERPIECE
Y/N: me and you have very different definitions of masterpiece
Nick: I can't believe I'm dating someone who doesn't like marvel, what have I done
Y/N: not having second thoughts are you?
I laugh a little at the horrified expression on his face
Nick: NOOOOOO NEVER
Y/N: that's what I thought love
I kiss him quickly, then turn back to the movie before I miss even more, and get even more confused, but I think it's a lost cause.
A few minutes pass and nick takes a deep breath, like he's about to say something he's been contemplating saying for a while.
Nick: so I've been thinking
Y/N: about anything in particular?
Nick: yeah I guess
Y/N: what's up?
Nick: well I've been thinking about... maybe coming out a bit more publicly
I turn to look at him
Y/N: really! You're ready for that?
Nick: yeah, I think I am
Y/N: it's a big decision though Nick
Nick: well I've been going over it in my head for a-
All of a sudden Nellie starts panting, like, really panting
Nick: Nellie!?
Y/N: you don't think she could be going into labour do you?
I turn to look at Nellie and stroke her as she seems to be in some severe discomfort now, which I assume comes with labour.
When I turn back around I see nicks acquired some sort of puppy delivering kit and is snapping a rubber glove onto his hand
I can't help but laugh at the state of him
Nick: it's go time.
