3: Rain

After a while, Mabel shoved the boys out of the compartment so we could change.

I slipped into my uniform and stared out the window, it'd grown dark now and we were approaching Hogwarts.

"Are you ok Stella?" Mable came and sat next to me. Mabel meant the world to me, she was my Anam Cara, my soul friend, and I would always choose her first.

I rested my head on her shoulder and she held my hand, I'd missed her, so much.

The train stopped; we'd arrived.

Blaise poked his head through the door

"C'mon ladies!"

Pansy rolled her eyes and stood up, I felt so excited to be back at Hogwarts, I also had some other friends in Slytherin who I was excited to see.

As we stepped off the train, thunder cracked and rain pelted down on us.

Screams of girls could be heard as we all bustled about to stay dry.

We hurried off to find a carriage and scrambled on.

"I'm soaked!" Huffed Pansy "These are new robes as well!"

Suddenly, I thought popped into my head,

"Hey, when are we next playing?"

"Oh yeah I thought we could play in the three broomsticks, maybe on a Hogsmeade day?" Theo replied.

"What are guys- ohhhhh! The band!" Pansy exclaimed

Mable snickered

"Yeah I've come up with a few new songs for us to play" Draco spoke up

"I've got a couple ideas too," I added "and I think they'll be killer"

"Right, when should we meet up for practice then? I mean the start of terms always busy"
Mable added.

"Yeah you've got a point" I replied. "And we've got quidditch try outs!"

I sighed

I really thought I'd be captain this year, I know it's stupid, but, I am our best scorer being a chaser and all, but I guess they gave it to an older pupil

"Are you going for seeker again this year, Draco?" I asked

"Ellie, for god's sake! There's the triwizard tournament! I bet you anything there won't be quidditch this year!"

"No quidditch?!" I exclaimed "this year is gonna suuuuuuuuck"
