Anirudh - Yes Bondita. Kaka is right. When I went to study, I rarely could keep in touch with our family. I was not able to call them and enjoy with my family. We also used to talk. I used to tease you more. (making her comfortable and trying to make her remember their beautiful moments)

Bondita's face colour drained as if she got caught red-handed by Anirudh. But the truth, she remembered everything. How can she not? She used to miss him in those days and wanted to hear his voice at least once. That's what she used to call him every night. Anirudh was Bondita's priority; the same goes for him too. But the thing is, he was not aware of his and her heart. Anirudh was a teenager not able to understand his feelings. When they played together, he cared for her more than a friend, but they never acknowledged her, and he loved to fight/argue with her for silly reasons and then pacified her by giving ek badam waale rasgulla by feeding her with his hands. He stays in his own world and comfort zone.

Anirudh - Bonditaaa?? (he raised his voice a little, in which she flinched.)

Due to his loud voice, she moved back and was about to fall, but one strong arm held her in the waist. Her eyes were closed tightly, and she slowly opened them only to see his dark, generic eye, which she always wanted to get lost in, looking at her with an intense gaze. His right holding her waist told him how much she had grown in years. Her blossoms were hitting his hardened chest. She is not tiny now compared to a few years back. And their breath was uneven, hitting each other's face and giving a warm sensation.

Their eyelock broke due to the ringtone of Anirudh's phone. She stood properly; her cheeks turned pinkish in London's climate and looked like a strawberry shade, and it was not unnoticed by him.

Bondita - (To change the topic, she asked annoyingly after he cuts the call) Why did you shout near my ear? I could have gone deaf...

Anirudh - you were not listening to me; I was calling you continuously...where were you in your dreamland (teasing)

Bondita - nowhere...why were you calling me?

Anirudh - I was asking you, don't you talk at least once a month? (Concerned for her as she is upset.)

Bondita - we've talked on the phone once or twice since then, but that's it.

Anirudh - Oh, I'm sorry. (trying to make her feel better)

Bondita - It's OK...Now I am used to it...I was never much of a priority for her.

Anirudh - Yeah, I know bondita...I have seen it back in tulsipur...we find time for each other(showing her that she is his priority)

Bondita - No need...(She got dejected by his act and didn't want to trust him again.)

Anirudh POV
Bondita didn't want my company. I was her companion, best friend, and everything in our childhood, but what happened now? She stopped contacting me after coming here and maintained a distance from me.

What happened, bondita? Why are you behaving with me like this? I feel hurt because of your nature. Did I make a mistake, and you are acting weird to me? After a long time meeting, we can have fun reminiscing old times, and it will be a lot of fun to meet each other since we have many things to share and speak to each other. But you, but you've changed a lot, bondita.

(Feeling hurt by her behaviour, his eyes showed the same pain bondita used to feel for him when he used to hurt her.)

(Changing topic as she doesn't need to get along with him like in the past. What if he once again hurt her? The last she came out from his memories was much more complex than she would have thought, but she wouldn't allow him near her)
