I envision the reader is a child of a scientist (Dr. Halsey perhaps) whose goal is to make the perfect weapon and soldier, the child has been altered like the halo franchise but hasn't known anything else besides training for war, and the white mask are the ones who fund the on going research and development of the armor. Team rainbow carriers out a mission to take the doctor and answer for the crimes she's committed but in the fire fight she's killed by the white masks, to cover loose ends and reader finds her dead and cradles her in their arms and is arrested by team rainbow and is taken into interrogation...........
