".........." Her father looked down shaking his head from side to side.

She brought up her hands and grabbed her father's trembling shoulders.

".....Mother?.....What??....Mother WHAT???" she trembled from the shock of hearing her mother's name being uttered after so many years.

He looked up again with big eyes, "There's no time to explain!!! You have to come with me!"

He grabbed her hand and turned back while rushing away where only god knew where to...

*Same time*

Everyone bowed down at Her Majesty's presence as they entered one by one into the beautiful hall that held the most glamorous dresses of all.

The queen smiled and gestured for them to come closer.

As everyone came inside the room the guards slowly closed the doors.

Meredith looked a little uncomfortable as she bowed down again and asked to say something.

"Your Highness, I believe there is one left." She glanced at the closed doors expecting someone to knock.

The queen nodded at the guards and they opened the doors.

They all looked at the door in curiosity.

No one came in.

"Where is Beth?" she questioned the others.

They had blank faces as it was obvious that they were too excited to even care about who was coming or not

"It is okay we can meet Beth, as you put it, some other time.... How about you introduce me to these friends of yours now?" The queen quietly suggested. Her voice was as smooth as silk and beautiful like a melody.

They all bowed briefly.

"As you wish your majesty" Meredith replied with a pleasant smile and started to introduce them one by one.

"Something was wrong" The thought kept knocking at the back of her mind but she paid no heed to it.

****

"Father wait! Wait, father!!!" She yelped trying to get her father to slow down his pace.

It was no good.

So she just tried to keep up with him.

They eventually moved towards their house even though this was not the way she usually used.

He went through alleyways that were supposedly pitch dark during the night.

He pushed the fence gate open and continued forward.

The thought of the queen waiting for her passed her mind and she shook her thoughts away.

"It is about mother. This is definitely more important!!".She thought.

She felt queasy as they moved inside the house.

He finally stopped to let her arm go which was lightly throbbing for the strong grip.

They stood in front of the door that led to the store room.

It had there unused furnitures and belongings.

'had he found something?' She wondered.

It had been years since someone had entered this room.

She was a little nervous and confused as to what he wanted to do with this room.

He opened the door and led her in after taking a deep breath.

He moved further inside leading the way.

It was very dark and dusty. The wooden floor creaked under there feet with sudden weight and pressure.

She glanced around and examined the different objects in the room that were draped in large white covers.

She could make out a few of her childhood possessions.

A loud creaking sound of a door opening to a room, brought her back to the present as her head snapped towards her father.

"Father.....?" She called out after him as he went in.

She had never known that there was a door here that led to another room.

She figured that was because it was hidden behind the piles of objects that were shoved to the side now.

It was pitch black, she couldn't see a thing.

Her father just disappeared after entering.

She looked around to see if there were any sort of torch or something alike.

She didn't fancy staying in the dark but went in any way not wanting to keep him waiting.

"Father?" She called out.

No answer.

"Father!"

Nothing.

"Fathe-"

"Yara"

There was silence before her father lit up a torch.

He was looking straight at her.

His blue eyes were piercing through hers as none of them spoke up.

"You know what I always told your mother?"

She was absolutely taken aback as this was the clearest his voice had ever been.

He sounded as if he had been sober all his life.

As if..... He had gone through tranquility....

"I would always say that no matter what happens..... We will always stay and live together side by side."

He gaze was so sharp she felt weak in the knees.

Once again there was an eternity of silence.

A silence so loud that felt as if her ears were going to bleed.

A silence that was screaming at her that something was wrong.

A silence..... that was telling her to run away.
