This has been going on for awhile, now. Taylor would leave for the studio around seven in the morning, and come home close to midnight, and then pass out from exhaustion.
It was making you worried. And even though you knew Taylor loves writing and recording new songs, it was to the point she wasn't getting much sleep.
You would hardly see her anymore and you knew you needed to confront her about this.
It was around 11:30 when you heard the front door open.
You stood up and walked to the front door.
You saw Taylor, kicking her shoes off and dropping her bag on the floor as she tiredly carried her body to the couch.
You sat down next to her, rubbing her back. "Hey, Tay. How was it?"
Taylor let out a sigh as she tried hard to keep her eyes open. "Tiring." She muttered.
She slowly looked up at you and you noticed dark circles under her eyes.
"Oh, baby.." you say empathetically.
"When's the last time you've had a day off?" You ask
Taylor shakes her head, "Y/n it's fine. I don't need a day off."
You interrupt Taylor, "You clearly do, Taylor. Your working all day, coming home late and not getting any sleep."
"If you keep on doing this, your going to get sick. You need sleep. You need to take a break." You suggest.
"I can't. You know there's so much work I have to do and so many songs I have to record before the 1989 release date!" Taylor sighs
"I know, but you need to take some time Taylor, you need to take care of yourself." You said
There was a moment of silence, until Taylor spoke.
"You're right.." taylor admitted
Taylor sighed and leaned back
"I should take some time off." She finished her sentence.
That made you feel a bit better as you smiles and nodded
"Yes, and I'm glad you agree. You fans will understand. Trust me they would rather wait then find out you're not properly taking care of you self, love." You kissed her forehead softly
"Thank you. I don't know what I would to without you y/n." Taylor said tiredly as she looked up at you
"Of course Tay, now let's get you to bed." You smiled as you helped Taylor to bed.
