Amid the hustle and bustle of the school corridor, Bora, Hana, and Minji leaned against the lockers, the chatter of excited students echoing around them. Minji's eyes gleamed mischievously as she turned to Bora. "Guess what, guys? Valentine's Day is next Saturday!"
Bora's lips curved into a small smile, the thought of Valentine's Day igniting a flutter of anticipation within her. "Yeah, I heard."
Minji nudged Hana playfully. "Hana, aren't you planning to ask someone out? Sunoo, right?"
Hana blushed, her gaze shifting away. "I-I don't know..."
Bora grinned. "Oh, come on, Hana! You've been crushing on him for ages."
With some persuasion from her friends, Hana eventually confessed her plan to ask Sunoo out. The trio giggled and teased each other, discussing their own Valentine's Day prospects. The conversation transitioned to their own plans, and they decided to spend Friday baking cookies together and shopping for Valentine's Day the next day.

Bora found herself in the library, her notebook and textbooks spread out before her. A glance around the room led her to a familiar sight – Jungwon, engrossed in his studies. With a gentle smile, she approached him. "Hey, .. Can I sit here?"
Jungwon looked up, a faint smile gracing his lips. "Sure, go ahead."
As they delved into their studies, an hour or so passed in quiet concentration. But Bora couldn't help but feel the pull of an impending conversation. She cleared her throat and glanced at Jungwon, who seemed deep in thought. "Jungwon?"
He blinked and looked at her. "Hmm? Yes?"
Bora bit her lip, then continued. "I was saying... next Saturday is Valentine's Day. I was wondering... maybe we could do something together?"
Before Jungwon could respond, his phone rang. Irritation flashed in his eyes as he ignored the call, but Bora urged, "It's your mom.. you should take the call. It might be something important."
Sighing, Jungwon answered the phone, his conversation with his mother brief yet tense. Once he hung up, he turned to Bora, his brow slightly furrowed.
Unperturbed, Bora resumed. "So, about Valentine's Day... next Saturday, I was thinking, maybe we could meet at the park?"
Jungwon's lips curved into a small smile. "The park sounds nice. What did you have in mind?"
A soft blush tinted Bora's cheeks. "Well, I thought we could spend some time there, maybe take a walk, enjoy the fresh air."
Jungwon nodded in agreement. "That sounds good. And after that?"
Bora's heart raced, but she managed to keep her voice steady. "I was thinking we could grab a drink at a café nearby. There's one with a cozy atmosphere that I really like."
Jungwon's smile grew a bit wider. "Sounds like a plan."
Bora's confidence grew, and she decided to share another idea. "Or, if you're up for it, we could head to the arcade after the café. You know, have some fun, play some games."
Jungwon chuckled softly. "An arcade? That's unexpected."
Bora grinned. "Well, why not? It could be a lot of fun."
Jungwon's gaze softened, and he nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it could be."
Bora turned to face Jungwon. "So, what do you say? Park, café, and arcade?"
Jungwon's smile was warm, his eyes holding a newfound spark. "It sounds like a day I'd enjoy."
Bora's heart soared with happiness. "Great! I'll text you the details later, okay?"
Jungwon nodded. "Sure, looking forward to it."
After some minutes Jungwon returned to his studies focusing on learning for his upcoming test.
As a comfortable silence settled between them, Bora gathered her thoughts. "Have you ever received anything on Valentine's Day?"
Jungwon's expression softened, a hint of nostalgia in his eyes. "Not from a girl... from a friend."
Bora raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? A friend, huh?"
Jungwon nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Yeah, a friend who thought it would be fun to give out chocolates to the guys as a joke."
Bora chuckled, imagining a young Jungwon being handed chocolates by his friend. "That's cute. Well, I guess Valentine's Day is for friends too, right?"

The library clock chimed, reminding them of the passage of time. Gathering their belongings, they left the library, the memory of their conversation lingering like a gentle echo. Bora walked alongside Jungwon, the anticipation of Valentine's Day intermingled with the comfort of friendship, creating a sense of warmth that chased away the winter chill.
