The sterile hospital room was gently awoken by a soft touch on Bora's head. She stirred from her slumber, her eyes slowly fluttering open to find Jungwon's reassuring presence by her bedside.

"Hey, love, shhh... You can sleep," he whispered tenderly, his hand gently brushing her hair away from her face.

A faint smile graced Bora's lips as she recognized his voice. "Jungwon," she murmured softly, feeling a sense of warmth flood over her. His presence was a comforting balm to her weary spirit.

Jungwon leaned in, and their lips met briefly in a gentle kiss, a silent reassurance of their love and support for one another. "How are you feeling? Better?" he inquired, his eyes filled with concern.

She nodded slowly, her gaze drifting down to her legs beneath the blankets. "I'm feeling better, but I just feel a lot of pain on my legs," she admitted, her voice tinged with discomfort.

A smile tugged at Jungwon's lips as he tried to uplift her spirits. "Well... look what I brought!" he exclaimed, revealing a bag of her favorite snacks. Bora's eyes sparkled with delight, and she clapped her hands in excitement.

"Yes! Just for you," he said, his smile growing wider as he handed her the bag.

Together, they settled in, watching TV shows and engaging in light-hearted conversations. Bora cherished these moments of normalcy amid the challenges she faced.

As they enjoyed their time together, Bora couldn't help but yearn for the sensation of the wind on her face and the scent of fresh air. It had been several days since she had the chance to step outside the hospital room and savor those simple pleasures. She pondered this quietly, her eyes drifting to the window.

"Jungwon," she finally spoke up, her voice soft and contemplative. "Do you think... we could go outside for a while? I haven't smelled the wind or felt the sun on my face in what feels like forever."

Jungwon glanced at Bora, concern etched across his features. Without hesitation, he nodded, understanding the importance of this small yet meaningful request. "Of course, Bora. Let's do it."

With careful assistance, he helped Bora into a wheelchair. Her heart was heavy with the memories of her brother, who had once sat in a similar chair. The parallel between their situations wasn't lost on her, and it brought a mixture of emotions.

They made their way to the hospital's outdoor area, where Jungwon gently wheeled Bora into the open. The sun's warmth enveloped her, and a gentle breeze played with her hair. The world outside the hospital walls seemed vast and inviting, a stark contrast to her confined room.

Bora closed her eyes, relishing the feeling of the sun on her face and the scent of the wind rustling through the trees. For a moment, the weight of her illness and the challenges she faced lifted, replaced by a simple, profound appreciation for life's beauty.

The two of them remained there, sharing this precious moment of tranquility before returning to her room.

Their tranquil time together was briefly interrupted when Jungwon received a call from his mom. His expression shifted, revealing a hint of concern, and he excused himself to take the call outside. When he returned, he explained to Bora that something had happened to his grandmother, and he was needed urgently.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Bora nodded, her eyes filled with sympathy. She thanked him for the snacks and told him to leave quickly to attend to his family.

Alone in her hospital room once more, Bora's gaze drifted outside the window. She reached for a piece of paper and a pen, her thoughts pouring onto the page. When she finished writing, she carefully placed the note into her bag, a testament to her innermost thoughts and feelings.
