𝐌𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝟐 : 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫

Chapter = 14

KY parked the truck in front of Palace, getting out, she ran inside crazily. All the guards were at Karagai, due to the incident which happened. With the memory she had, KY ran towards dungeons with Kim Brothers and Bum following her. Their panicking footsteps echoed in the silent Palace.

Just as KY slam opened the door of Dungeons. Her eyes searched for the remaining family of Kashi. Soon enough, her desperate eyes fell on Weina. Airk Weina. Sister of Kashi. She looked shocked, beside her was her brother, Airk Arzaga. He had injuries over his hands in which Weina was putting medicine. Kaltia, the mother of kashi was also beside them.

Three of them stared at them in shock. How they came here? And why didn't the guards tried to stop them? KY breath heavily looking at them

" Ka-shi. He's dead. "

Their eyes widened in shock. Kaltia got up from the ground and stared at her. Even though he was evil, he cheated on her. He was still her husband. Her eyes tear up a bit. Weina and Arzaga also got up in shock. They felt contented and happiness but somewhere deep down. They felt the pain.

" So? We don't care. "

Kaltia muttered while looking down. She was still in love with him even after what he did. KY took a deep breath before opening her mouth.

" The one who killed him— "

" It's daughter of King Lang Aris. Princess Lang Ae-yan.We know. "

KY sighed, she looked out of dungeons where future Kim brothers and bum were keeping eye on around. She massaged her head a little.

" Yeah but right now, She's after you all. She wants to end whole generation of Airk family! Y— "

Before she could complete her sentence, a loud door breaking sound echoed in whole palace. The sound of door crushed into peices, each piece which fell on the ground, made noise.  Everyone's eyes widened hearing it. KY was trembling badly. Even though it's her. Past her. Still she knew how much crazy she was.

The sound was like, someone broke in. KY ran towards balcony and looked down. Her lips trembled looking at the blood marks on the ground, coming from the direction of Karagai. She hurriedly took out one sword which was hanged on the wall. Motioning others to be silent. Her fearful eyes stared at the end of hallway.

There was a tiny bit of light only. Currently they were in floor 3. Kim brothers along with Bum helped Kaltia, Weina and Arzaga to get out of Dungeons. All of them were shivering due to the chills they were getting.

KY tightened her hold on the sword as the loud footsteps echoed around the walls, coming towards the 3rd floor hallway through stairs. It was creepy.

Suddenly, Footsteps stopped. Only wind blowing sound was heard around. KY walked slowly towards the end of hallway which had no light. After reaching, she leaned on wall, trying to be as silent as she could. Other than the wind blowing sound, she could hear her heart thumping inside her in fear.

After gathering some courage, she turned around and pointed her sword towards the stairs. But to her suprise, there was no one. She frowned. Her hold on the sword loosened a bit as she stared at the empty dark stairs with confusion. She took few steps back and looked towards Future Kim Brothers and Bum. Who were also looking back at her with confusion. 

They could only hear the sound of their fastened heartbeats and wind blowing. The curtains slowly swang around with wind, KY's forehead was filled with cold sweat. In her life, she never feared someone like this. Even if it was her, she knew. What power the daughter of King Lang Aris holded.

The only source of light which was near the Dungeons started flickering taking everyone's attention. Kim brothers and Bum, along with Airk Siblings and Mrs. Airk. They all gulped looking at the flickering light. Bum and Kim Brothers turned and looked towards KY, only to freeze.

KY watched as fear took over their eyes. She noticed their hands which were trembling while taking step back. Fear and worry was written all over their faces. Worry for KY. But fear?

KY's heart stopped for a second as she heard a heavy breathing behind her. Her eyes widened as she made eye contact with Bum who was staring at her with worry. She was too busy to notice the breathing sounds. KY's hand almost lost hold on the sword as the sound of a huge knife dragging against the floor echoed from behind her.

" Tsk. "

Without thinking twice, KY turned around, only to be punched hard on belly. Everyone screamed loudly as the body of KY came in contact of wall. Her body trembled as she somehow managed to get up and point the sword towards the dark end of hallway.

From the dark side of hall, a figure slowly came out, as the light fell on her. Everyone's heart freezed in horror. Ae-yan was covered in blood head to toe. She looked evilly devilish. Eyes staring at them with darkness in them. The huge knife in her hand which was being dragged against the floor was painted in pure dark red liquid.

Her eyes went to KY who was pointing sword towards her. With a playful expression and amused eyes, she stared at her up and down, like she's judging her. She titled her head, staring right at Airk family, ignoring Kim Brothers and Bum.

" She? "

Her face shinned with judgement look. She pointed her large knife at KY who freezed on her place a little.

" She'll protect y'all from me huh. "

Her lips curved into a sickening smirk. Turning her head to KY. She laughed out like a psychopath. Clapping her hands, she laughed like there was no tomorrow. Laughing is normal thing but her laughing was sending chills after chills in everyone's body when suddenly her face turned blank, looking at them. In the chilling wind, she whispered blankly.

" Great then. My profit. More blood I'll get. "

This time, her eyes stared at Kim Brothers and Bum.
