Felix hopped out of his room, Pixie trailing behind as he waddled back to the living room, finding a tired Changbin already passing him a smile across the room whilst he shut the main door and put away his bag that held extras or whatever he took to the gym with him.
He knew the alpha had been up till midnight last night and he felt a tad bit bad for the male except he had prepared a surprise for him which only made the omega grin widely as he ushered the male to follow him,
'Changbinnie hyung-come on! Please-'
Changbin followed the boy, loving the nickname regardless it sounded a bit cliche, he liked the way Felix spoke his name, affection and respect shared simultaneously, and he loved the way the boy was always excited about small things.
He truly wondered sometimes, how did he even magically manage to capture Felix's attention and pass through the blonde's one of the many walls surrounding him.
Right, they didn't share hugs, and unlike what Felix's mother, his aunt told him of the blonde being a super fussy cuddle bug, he wasn't really surprised that the boy made no progress to sharing hugs or for that case, even letting him pat his head,
He knew Felix had a lot of walls surrounding him, and he was alright with it. The younger was already like a brother to him, and he found himself wanting to protect the beta. Blame it on his alpha instincts, he loved to make sure Felix was alright, and every time he left the house, he made sure to keep the cameras in the living room, in the corridors, and at the main door turned on and checked the live footage every now and then between his working out regime.
He didn't tell the boy that ofcourse, since the cameras were solely for security purposes, but sometimes seeing him playing around with Pixie, hopping around, or even taking a seat in front of the living room window, as he watched the outside with transfixed eyes, Changbin felt like he finally had a younger brother to protect.
And he was all up for it.

Right, he knew of the nicknames the blonde's mother used on him, 'Sunshine', 'Lixie'-one which he used himself a lot as well,
Only one didn't make sense, 'Brownies', but he assumed it was something between the mother-son duo. His own mother called him 'Pizza' randomly all because she found his face resembling a slice-
Though he was annoyed by it, he let her call him that because he knew she just found it affectionate.
Changbin sighed, wondering what people even do in terms of showing affection.
He glanced at Felix, who was, at the moment, wearing a glove and taking a covered plate out of the microwave,
He wondered, eyebrows rising as he stared at the blonde male, who glanced at him and broke out into a fit of giggles,
