Best friends are moody: Chapter 4

"Omg I can't believe you actually did it." I looked at my blushing best friend.

"You dared me to." Felisha said. I was dumbfounded seeing that she was so shy.

"He is totally scary." I said back to her.

"Maybe, but maybe he is just misunderstood." She said looking at me with her big sky blue eyes gave me that little look. The one she always gave me when she talked about being misunderstood. Felisha was the expert in this school when it came to that as her brilliance frightened most people away. She was smarter then most of the teachers here which is why she was in all college courses since middle school. Her parents didn't want to move her up as they wanted her to have a normal as possible child hood. I was so jealous of her brains.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I replied as we entered the room and set two seats back, middle roles, same as always. Everyone came in an seated themselves. "Awh well everyone is her on time," the bell rang as Ms. Chapman spoke, "good I will take ten questions off the test." The teacher started to close the door when low and behold 'Creeper entered the room. I guess he had to have brains if he was in this class. "Awe hello, Mr. Danny, Danny Manchester. Well class looks like we have a new student joining us. Take a seat, although we are having a test today so you won't have anything to do." She said to him pointing to the only seat available right next to Felisha.

"Ah I'll take it." He said in a none caring way. Everyone looked at him shocked except Felisha who just smile all goofy like. Ms. Chapman handed out the test including to him.

"You can skip every other questions, I don't care if you do odds or evens but there are only 20 questions so have fun." I looked over at Felisha then at him as he stared at her for a minute before he started. I looked down at my test:

I hated test so much but at least this was an easy one. I decided to do the odds as I glanced over them they appeared to be easier then the even. I glanced up as I heard some noise. Uhg are you serious she is already done. Felisha had finished the test and turned it in as usual. I looked at the clock, 15 minutes and she was done.

"You only had to do half dear." Everyone looked up at her and huffed looking back down.

"I know but they were all so easy." She said.

"Well let me give you this pass then and you can go on to the library or something no since in you staying in here." She gave her a pink slip of paper that excused her from class and I watched my best friend skip out of class. I looked over at the new guy who watched her every move. Oh my god was that a smile on the creepers face. He liked her, he liked Felisha, oh this poor fool he will never get Jeremy's approval. Ahhhh Jeremy so cute. Snap out of it. I looked at my test and within a few minutes the creeper got up and turned his paper in.

"Well looks like you answered ever question. Did you guess?" She said confused as she didn't know anything about him yet and new students never oppted to take a test, nor especially answer all the questions.

"No ma'am." He said, he has mannors?.? I watched the teacher check all of his answers with him standing there.

"Well I do say it is wonderful to have you in my class danny. Here you go." She handed him his test back and I could see all the bright red checks and the 100 smily face she always gave to Felisha.

"Thanks." She wrote him up a pass.

"You should go explore that way you know where everything is. I will see you tomorrow morning." I watched him leave. Damn it, now I wouldn't be the second one finished anymore. I took my paper up to the teacher and received a pass as well. It was so cool of her to do this for her top students, I could only hope he wouldn't push me out of the running. I went straight to the library as I knew that would be exactly where she was.

"So guess what!" I whispered excitedly as I set besid her.

"What?" She whispered back.

"Creeper is a math wizz." I whispered she smiled that annoying smile of hers. "Didn't you hear me?" I asked.

"Shhh" came from the librarians desk.

"Sorry, come on let's go to the gym." I said pulling her with me. She left the book she was reading open on the table. William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, lame she had read it so many times she had it memorised. I saw the creeper come in as we were leaving, he must have been exploring like he was told to. My goofy friend smiled and waved as we passed, he just sort of smiled at her.

"Did you see that?" She asked as we walked away.

"What the creepers smile. Yeah creepy." She giggled at me.

"He's not that bad if you take all the black away." She said.

"You are insane your mom and dad would die from shock, your brother would kill him, and you would be locked away in a safe room heavily guarded for the rest of your life." I spoke loudly now that we were out of the library.

"Whoa I am not saying he is cute, but let's face it we ain't exactly popular and a new friend would be nice." She said in a up beat tone.

"I would rather sit through a math test everyday." I said and huffed at my friends ability to be so perky almost all the time.

"Wow your moody today." She said shoving me a bit.

"What I am not. Besides even as a friend your brother would slaughter him." She just laughed as the first Bell rang.

"See ya at lunch." She said and hopped away.

"I'm not moody." I yelled at her as she skipped of to political science class and I mopped all the way to literature. I set down and slammed my head on the desk.

"What's wrong with you flea." I looked over to see Tabitha, Jeremy's girlfriend sitting next to me.

"You know I hate that." Ever since that one girl attacked Felisha all of her brother's friends started calling us that.

"You look bumbed." She said with her annoying beautiful smile and perfect perfectness.

"I am fine." I snapped. I couldn't believe my friend wanted to be friends with a creeper.

"Moody little flea today aren't we." She said. In walked Jeremy, it was the only class we had together as it was the only other advanced class other then math that I had. He was so gorgeous, she was so lucky.

"So Dana, what's this I hear about a guy talking to my sister." Oh no as much as I didn't like the guy for his creepiness, I still didn't want to watch him get beat up.

"I dared her to go up to him, then he had math with us. He is pretty smart I guess, but your sister seems to think he is just misunderstood." I said trying my best to be truthful and yet not give away his sisters plan to befriend him.

"So did he talk to her in class?" He asked. It was the only time he talked to me, every single time he wanted info. At least he knew I existed.

"No." I said as the second Bell sounded and the teacher brought the room to silence as he began speaking. Felisha you better love me for not getting the creeper in trouble. And I am not moody.
