Dana's pov
"You know you shouldn't encourage him to be bad." Felisha said.
"What Dean is a jerk and you know it." I said as we set down at our usual table, alone, with no one else because most girls avoided us for being nerds, and guys were afraid of Jeremy.
"He is not, he is just a bit...." I looked at her with my don't you dare stare.
"He is a jerk, I have watched him above people like us around. He is always wrestling around with the other jocks and I am positive if it weren't for your brother you would be another victom." I said.
"Victom of what he doesn't pick on girls." She said. I just looked at my clueless friend.
"He has had sex with seven out of ten girls in our grade and beneath. Little girls like you who don't know any better fall victom to his charm and end up like Suezy Swadle." I pointed to the now most unpopular girl in school. Suezy had fell for his charm last year and when she to have more then just a one night stand with a guy who treated girls like dirty underwear, well. She is now harrassed by all of the popular girls, ignored by the smarted kids, and avoided like the plague by anyone with enough sense not to speak to her. Felisha did not have that sense, she had to be the only person in school that still spoke to Suezy. If it wasn't for her brother poor Felisha would be just as big of an outcast. Not that we both weren't already, if it wasn't for her I don't think our school would have such a high rating.
"So um today in the club we need to set up for the fall festival, I know its early, but I don't want the disaster that happened last year." I hated when she changed the subject. I growled and squinted at her. "Look I know okay, I know I hear all the stories, but they are just that stories. Let's just talk about something else." She said shoving a bite of food in her mouth while she scanned the cafeteria. I looked too and blushed when I saw Jeremy walking over to us.
"So your new friend, the creeper, he sure lit up the place today didn't he." Jeremy said as he actually set down with us.
"Face it Jeremy not all of the people who run in your crowd are as nice as you." She said sarcastically.
"Don't push it. He attacked a team mate." He said I stared at him blankly like always. Not wanting or sure how to act around him half the time.
"In all fairness you are varsity, he is junior. Besides Danny is being punished what more do you want." She asked not looking up at him.
"He is obviously not good enough for you. I don't want you hanging out with him." Jeremy said.
"She has no choice." I chimed in and he shot me a look. " The principal assigned him to our club, and they have two classes together." I said quickly not wanting him angry at me.
"You need to do what you promised then and keep an eye on him." He said Felisha looked up at me with a hurt expression.
"I will, I said I would and I will." I said looking away from him.
"You agreed to spy on me?" She said froozen with her fork stuck into her burrito. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was slightly open and pouting.
"No, no him, Danny I agreed to spy on Danny." I said. She looked even more hurt now, not sure how, but she did.
"Your suppose to be my friend. You are suppose to trust me, and you aren't suppose to spy on me just because my brother asks. You call me crazy for my crush on Dean, but I wouldn't let him talk me into spying on....." She looked over at her brother whose expression was now shock and furious combined.
"Dean maybe a teammate, but he is a dog, and you will not go near him." Jeremy said.
"It's just a crush, its not like he would ever return the gesture." She said lifting up her tray as she was upset and fixen to leave the table.
