And so it goes...

I wanted to have this done way before now but it seems the universe still me hates me. I got bronchitis, AGAIN. And in June, I mean seriously who gets sick in the middle of summer?!?!

I've also been dealing with finding costumes for comic-con(by that I mean Smallville comic-con, which is the Hutchinson, KS version of comic-con). I asked my eight year old brother what he wanted to dress up as and he asked me if I'd seen The Purge. I freaking love that kid!

Anyhow here goes, it's a bit short but in my defense my brain is kinda fried at this point in time...

Oh and guess what I don't own...?

Kat's POV

"Well so much for happily ever after." I sighed and plopped down on Christine's couch.

Four years later and we still can't relax. After Ezra told me about the mirror, Erik had us rushing to Christine and Raoul's flat. None of us knew what to do or say. We simply sat there and stared at each other like idiots.

"Why do you hate me world?" I moaned and kicked the coffee table that sat in front of me. Bad idea. "Dammit! That hurt."

"Darling I realize this is aggravating but please don't destroy the furniture, or yourself for that matter." Damien muttered from his seat across from me.

I glared at him with narrowed eyes. How could be so calm at a time like this. "Why am I the only one here whose angry?"

"I for one am far more frightened than mad." Raoul said as he took a seat next to Damien.

"Because she damaged your perfect complexion?" Damien teased him.

Raoul frowned and Erik snickered. They liked to gang up on my brother-in-law, which was fine by me. Whatever makes them feel better I suppose.

I stood and began pacing the room. Christine walked in not long after and gave a concerned look. "Kat would you please sit down, you're making me nervous."

"Is Ezra asleep?" I asked as I continued to pace.

Christine sighed as she slowly lowered herself onto the couch. Her stomach looked like it could explode at any given moment.

"He's fast asleep. Now what are we going to do about our situation?" She inquired.

Raoul looked at Damien. "Didn't you kill her?"

"I thought I did, but apparently I was wrong." Damien muttered his response.

"You ran a knife right through her heart. That would kill anything, wouldn't it?" Erik looked at me as if I knew the answer.

Then, as if they were the literal meaning of the 'Domino Affect', everyone else in the room looked at me. What do these people think I am, an encyclopedia on all things supernatural?

"What?" I asked after a few moments.

"You're the only one whose been inside the mirror." Christine said.

I raised an eyebrow. "So..."

"So", Damien spoke up, "maybe her still being alive has something to do with the mirror. And if that's true, the-"

"There is no way hell you are stabbing me!" I threw my arms up. "Been there, done that. Not happening, okay."

"That's not what I was going to say." Damien rolled his eyes. "I was saying that maybe it's the mirror that's keeping her alive."

Erik looked at Damien like he'd lost his mind. "I highly doubt a time traveling mirror grants its users immortality."

"You're kidding right? Think about what just came out of your mouth." Damien snorted.

"Valid point." Erik said with embarrassment.

I stop pacing and sat next to Christine. "I don't follow."

"Think about it Kat. You survived from a severe wound that should have killed you. You healed weeks faster than a normal person would have. Now I'm not saying that your immortal or anything, but maybe the more time you spend within the mirror, the stronger you become." Damien explained.

"So I may not be invincible but she is? Well that's just great?" I pinched the bridge of my nose.

Raoul looked confused. "Wait, so we can't kill her?"

We all turned and looked at him. What does Christine see in this dweeb?

"I will slap you." Damien said.

"Wait!" I nearly yelled, interrupting Damien and Raoul's staring match. "Why can't we just destroy the source of her power?"

"This is why you're my favorite." Damien smiled at me.

Erik gave me a serious look. "That's a great idea, but how exactly would we do that? I mean shattering it obviously didn't work."

"I guess we'll just have to find out where it came from." I said.

"And how exactly do we that?" Erik asked.

I looked up at him, remembering the night I realized she was alive years ago. The night she explained everything to Damien, Ezra, and myself.

"We go to Italy."
