Y/n POV

I was finished healing, although the doctor wanted to make a check-up before we finished. It's a "just in case" scenario.

Doctor: Going through everything, and it seems like we are in the all clear.

Tai: Very good.

I hopped off the bed and grabbed some remaining things. Raven got some of our stuff from the village, so we had very little on us. Not including Rost's staff, which Aloy held dear.

Speaking of the girl, she looked over towards me. She hopes to see a good reaction to me leaving the hospital. Although she seems to understand how I felt towards this.

Y/n: So can I ask you all to train me? I would like to be able to defend both of us. If not your children to if needed.

Tai looked ahead before nodding.

Tai: Sure, I'll train you, but you'll have to put the work into it.

Y/n: I understand that.

Tai: Good. Very good. We'll start once you all are ready.

Y/n: Thank you.

Tai smiled softly, patting the boy on the head.

Tai: No problem, kiddo.

Y/n looked away shyly.

Y/n(Thinking): Rost used to do that, too.....

After my final examination, I was allowed out. From that prison. A breath of relief came out. I was met with two girls. One with black hair and red tips. Another was straight yellow hair past her shoulders.

Tai: Looks like you're all better now.

Y/n: Yeah......

Tai: Ah, right. Y/n met Ruby and Yang. Ruby, Yang met your brother Y/n. Where'd your sister Y/n?

Y/n: She was grabbing some last-minute items.

Aloy then ran up next to me.

Aloy: Hello, Tai.

She waved with a smile.

Tai: Hello Aloy. Aloy met Ruby and Yang. Ruby, Yang met Aloy Y/n sister.

Ruby: Hello!

She happily waved.

Yang: Sup.

She walked over while wrapping Y/n head into a head lock.

Tai: Now, now. Let's get home. I'm sure these two are tired from staying at the hospital.

Ruby: Right!

Yang: Very well.

Aloy: Sure thing. It'll be nice to put away some personal items.

Y/n nodded silently.

Tai sighed.

Tai(Thinking): I'm not surprised he's so quiet. Hopefully, he'll open up sooner rather than later.

Ruby and Yang had to share a room while me, and Aloy shared another. It was quite the hassle to move things around, but once done. I headed outside, and so did Tai.

Tai: So the first thing I'll teach you will be hand to hand combat. You'll get into a boxers fighting stance. Like this, try it.

Y/n: Like this?

I asked Tai, who walked around me.

Tai: Make sure you're light on your feet. You don't want to be rooted down like a tree.
