Bella sat on the couch, curled up in a onesie watching some tv while waiting for Klaus to come back from shopping. She didn't know why he went shopping, all she knew was that after they ate lunch earlier he had to go run errands, so he gave her a job, sit on the couch, be a good girl and watch some tv. If she did that he would bring her back something she wanted, as the time passed and bella was growing even more bored, just when she was about to go do something else, Klaus came inside her apartment, placing groceries on the kitchen island and some bags near the from door, he walked over and kissed her forehead as Bella smiled happily. Klaus had put away the groceries before he walked over to her kneeling in front of her as he cupped her cheek and gently rubbed his finger over her cheek. He spoke, his voice soft and so different from when he was cold. "Hey baby girl I got you something" Klaus gave her the bag and bella opened it excited to see new stuffed animals and a new fuzzy blanket as she hugged him happily, she hasn't felt this safe in months, she whispered. "Thank you". Klaus nodded his face back to being cold as he kissed her forehead again and got up continuing to put things away as he kept one eye on bella who was now happily playing with her toys, as he finished his eyes shifted to the clock, it was getting late he didn't even realized how long he has been out for and he felt terrible for leaving bella alone that long. He gave her some dinner a hour later as he got her into bed, she fell asleep quickly hugging her new plushie and clinging onto him, her source of comfort, he didn't mind taking care of her as he played with her hair, she was precious to him.
