Detective Kashyap sitting on a sofa was enjoying his

coffee when a chubby man knocked on his door. He

opened the door with a smile. But that man gave a

tense look.

"Hello, mister,

" Detective Kashyap asked. "How can

I help you?"

"Are you Detective Kashyap?" Said the man in a

flurry." I am Akshaya and only he has the solution to

my problem."

"Yes, Mister Akshaya. I am Detective Kashyap.

Come in and sit. Then we will discuss everything."

Detective Kashyap offered a coffee to Akshaya but

he was in a bit of a hurry.

"Sir, please help me! My mother suddenly

disappeared from her room! I was with our cook. He

was telling me something about vegetables. And I

went inside my mother's room to tell her also but

she was not there!"

Akshaya's phone rang. He picked up the phone.

"Hello, my brother! How are you? Err- - I am not at

home, so...yes! Surely! Bye."

"What were you talking about to your brother, eh?"

"He wanted to talk to mother. I don't have any

choice, except for lying. He asked me to give the phone to our mother. He is out of station for now

and he doesn't know that Mum is lost. I don't dare to

tell him the truth! Please I beg! Please find her

before he comes back!"

"Before that, where's your father?"

Akshaya takes a long breath.

"Okay I understood and I am sorry for that."

Detective Kashyap said after guessing that his

father is dead."So, when did you father..."

"Ten years ago. He was a drunkard rasc - - "

"I got it!" Detective Kashyap cut Akshaya and

said."So, does that mean you and your brother are

the only ones who live with your mother?"

"No. There are two servants. One is a cook which I

mentioned and the other is a caretaker."

"Interesting. Where was the caretaker when she

disappeared?"

"He must be mobbing. Or maybe calling his wife. He

is a jerk. He calls her and says nothing. He

sometimes just says, hmm... or na...that's it."

"I will have to visit your house."

"You can come with me!"

They both sat in Akshaya's car and went off towards

his house.
It was a big bungalow. Detective Kashyap examined

the room from where her mother disappeared. To examine the room without disturbance, he made

Akshaya stands outside of the room.

Her room was on the first floor and no one could

jump from there. If she went out of the main door,

Akshaya would have known because he was sitting

in the lobby with the cook when she disappeared.

There was a bed, a table, and an almirah. He looked

below the almirah and saw some dust and a packet.

That packet recalled something from his own life. It

was a packet in which a special organization kept

drugs for selling.

He tried to open the almirah of the room but it was

locked. He took out a lighter and used a weird iron

piece coming out of it from its lower part and opened

it.

Detective Kashyap saw some papers and clothes

kept very nicely. He read the paper and smiled.

He came out with an expression of victory and saw

Akshaya and the Cook talking.

"So you are the cook." Detective Kashyap started

his interrogation with the cook, Suresh. "How long

have you been working here?"
"This year in March it will be seven years, sir."

"Hmm, so, you should be loyal, ain't you?"

"Yes, sir. Akshaya sir always praises my work."

Akshaya smiled.

"Good. Akshaya, would you mind if I talk to him

privately?"

"Of course not!" He said and went away.

"Don't you think this caretaker, Tinku, is quite a bit

suspicious? I mean, he looked at me like I would kill

him!"

"It's been three years, sir. But then also I don't know

him much. The last time we talked was when

Akshaya sir's mother, Anita Madam, shouted at her

and asked him to leave the job if he didn't know

how to work."

Detective Kashyap rubbed his hands.

"Interesting! So, he doesn't talk much and he also

doesn't work properly!"

"Yes, sir."

"Stop telling an untruth!"

"W - What do you mean? Why would I lie? He talks

less, I swear."

"I know, you are not lying about it. You are lying

about the dispute between your Anita madam and him. Why did you lie? It's simple, if he is like that, he

would have already been fired from the job."

"Err- - s-s-sorry sir! I don't like his nature, so I

thought he would be kicked out of the job if he is

also a suspect."

"Speaking of suspects, now you are one of the

suspects in this case!"

Suresh swallowed.

"But sir, one of the...?"

Detective Kashyap smiled and went away.
He knew what he should do to solve this twisted case.
