George's Pov.

The sound of a rather annoying alarm clock was what first brought me back to my living hell of a life. I groaned and slammed my hand down on the annoying device. A quick pleasant thought of how I'd love to go back in time and . . . have a pleasant chat with the inventor of the rather obnoxious sound creating thing. However my thoughts were short lived when I heard foot steps running around outside my door.

I groaned again and sat up, slowly opening my eyes. The early slivers of day just barely creeping through my broken blinds. I glared hatefully at the unwelcomed guest and threw the covers off my body. I swung my legs out of my, only slightly uncomfortable, bed and stood up. I stretched feeling my back crack and a painful groan leaving my mouth due to the pain in my back. I shook my head and after bracing myself, walked over and opened my bed room door.

All I could hear was yelling and the sound of feet stomping around the floor. I mentally sighed, thankful we lived on the bottom floor of the apartment complex, and I wouldn't have too deal with any annoyed neighbors below us. I walked into my three little angels shared room and was immediately met by my oldest, Charlette, throwing something at one of her younger brothers.

"Charlette Davidson, we do not throw things in this house, especially at our family." I said in a stern tone, giving my oldest a disapproving look. She looked at me and stomped her foot, "But daddy it's not fair, why do I have to go to big girl school but they get to go with the babies?" I chuckled and bent down to speak with Charlette. I looked into her big beautiful brown eyes and smiled, "Because sweetie they are two years old, your four, which means you go to the four year old's class." She looked at me like I was the biggest idiot she's ever met.

After a solid minute of her staring at me I sighed and ran a hand through her slightly long blond hair. "Let's get you ready love, we're going to be late again." She reluctantly sighed and agreed, though not without quickly moving in and pecking me on the cheek. I smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek as well, earning a giggle.

As I stood up Liam and Oliver, who were twins, both started making grabby hands at me and crying, "Daddy." I smiled and walked over to their shared crib and picked them both up, I bobbed them up and down a bit and kissed the top of their heads. Both of them had short brunet hair just like myself and just like their sister and I they had brown eyes too.

"OK my loves, lets get you ready OK?"

After I got my daughter in a nice little dress and my two boys in cute matching onesies I quickly got myself ready.

I brushed my teeth, combed my hair and put in a light blue hoodie with a pair of worn black jeans.

With that I walked back to out to my kids. "Alright lets go everyone."

Once I was able to finally get all three of my children ready and out the door I walked with Charlette next to me holding my hand, and the twins in a rather run down stroller I headed to their Head Start.

It was only a few blocks away and once we reached the familiar outside gates I hit the intercom and we were buzzed in.

The Head Start was rather fancy. It was a private Head Start that prided itself in rearing outstanding students. Most of the children who attended were able to get scholar ships to pristine private schools in the area. Those who couldn't were still able to get in due to their parents paying for them. I nodded at the receptionist who simply gave me a curt nod. I always felt out of place coming here.

I was the only parent who actually dropped their children off. Everyone else had a nanny or servant do it. I was well aware of the fact I didn't belong here, but as usual when I started to get to deep in my head about that, a certain head master would pop up as if on cue.

"George! I'm glad too see you. Oh hello my little muffins." I turned around to see Darryl, the Head Starts Head master. I smiled at my friend. "How are you this morning?"

Darryl smiled brightly. "Oh I'm good, Zak surprised me with a big breakfast so I'm in a good mood."

I laughed, Darryl was always in a good mood. I've honestly never seen him in a bad one before. "That's good to hear, we were running late so the kids will have to eat breakfast with their class to day." I said hoping Darryl wouldn't ask what I was scared he'd ask.

He stopped a teacher who was walking by and whispered something in her ear. The woman nodded and walked over to me. "Mr. Davidson if you don't mind I'll take the children to their class rooms for you."

Before I could reply she was already lifting Liam and Oliver out of the stroller and was motioning for Charlotte to follow her, which she did happily.

I gave Darryl a nod, "I-I better get going, I'm already late for work." I started to walk by him but he grabbed my arm gently and stopped me.

"George. . . are you eating?"

I froze. I really didn't know what to say. I forced a smile after a few minutes and laughed, "Of course I am. I just didn't have time this morning. Don't worry, I'll grab something on my way to work." I lied to him, and hoped he wouldn't catch on.

He gave me a doubtful look but sighed, "George, you know I care about you. Please just. . . Don't neglect your self. Your little ones need you."

I felt a pang of guilt in my heart, but I brushed it off. I knew he was simply worried about me due to my troubled past but I really couldn't tell hi the truth. I know he'd be upset. So I simply forced another smile and nodded. With that Darryl let me go and I hurried off to my job. Which was on the other side of town.

I grimaced when I noticed the time. 'Great I'm most certain I'll get a stern talking too from him.'
