The going merry

In waters wide, where mysteries abound,

A story grand, of a ship renowned.

Its billowed sails, like wings unfurled,

Guiding dreams on a journey that had unfurled.

Oh, Going Merry, vessel of dreams,

On seas untamed, your spirit beams.

At water's edge, a crew so pure,

Bound by loyalty, love secure.

With straw-hat captain, his dreams in tow,

A merry band, in search of the unknown.

Through stormy squalls and tempest's wrath,

You carried them on, forging a steadfast path.

Your timbers weathered, marked by strife,

But oh, the memories etched on your life.

In laughter shared and tears shed,

You witnessed tales that the stars whispered.

From East Blue's shores to far-off isles,

You sailed with purpose, gathering smiles.

Through battles fought and friendships made,

You stood tall, an anchor amidst the shade.

But time does pass, and tides do turn,

The echoes of adventure begin to adjourn.

As twilight shadows dance upon your deck,

Your farewell draws near, a moment to reflect.

Oh, Going Merry, vessel of our hearts,

Your departure, though painful, is but a part.

In the vast expanse, you'll forever remain,

A symbol of dreams, a legend that sustains.

Through poetry's verse, your spirit shall thrive,

Forever sailing alongside the tides of our lives.

With each new voyage, as our souls take flight,

We'll remember you, dear ship, in eternal starlight.
