In the realms of dreams, where hope doth abide,
A sickly girl yearned for life to confide.
Within her heart, a longing to embrace,
The world outside, where freedom set its pace.
Through fragile bones and weakened breaths she sighed,
Her spirit soared, longing to be untied.
Enslaved by illness, confined to her bed,
With dreams as solace, she found solace instead.
Her mind, a canvas where illusions did bloom,
A world made real within a dreamy tomb.
And in this reverie, her step took flight,
Outside her window, bathed in dappled light.
Ethereal landscapes, vibrant hues unfurled,
She danced with joy, where wellness had been hurled.
Her feet kissed flowers, each petal a thrill,
As if the world was whispering its will.
But dreams, alas, are fleeting, as they fade,
Her spirit's flight was destined to be frayed.
A cruel reminder, reality's embrace,
That life's dark veil still held her in its chase.
Her fragile body, overwhelmed with woe,
Could not endure the vibrant world bestowed.
As she awoke, frail fingers lost their grip,
The dream had ended, and reality did slip.
Her final breath, with a bittersweet smile,
For in her dreams, she lived a little while.
A world imagined, where she found her voice,
A dream so potent, deserving of choice.
In memory, her spirit lingers still,
A testament of strength, against life's ill.
In dreams, she danced, forever she will dwell,
Her soul alive, in the stories we tell.
