Kyo X Tohru Oneshot <3

Kyo X Tohru Oneshot, the anime is Fruits Basket. I love this ship so much! I'm sorry to those Yuki X Tohru shippers but I will do a oneshot for that ship. Thanks <3 P.S ~ This is based after the last episode :) Enjoy! <3

Kyo's Pov:

I was sitting down on the rooftop of the Sohma house, just trying to clear my head. Shigure and Yuki both went out to the shops. Tohru was down inside making dinner for everyone. I looked down onto my wrist the bracelet with all the beads, they were gone, the one thing that prevented me from turning into a vile beast. All of that was now gone, and it was all thanks to Tohru. I smile to myself and get down from the roof and walk inside.

Tohru's Pov:

I was in the kitchen making dinner for the Sohma's. Both Yuki and Shigure went out to get some things. I knew Kyo was up on the roof probably asleep. I hope he is ok. Ever since that night, when I saw Kyo's true form. He has been distant from me. I don't know why, maybe he thinks that I think I am scared of him. I'm not, I care about Kyo. I love him.

"Hey what are you cooking?" I hear Kyo's voice come from outside the kitchen door.

It slowly slides open showing me the orange hair boy standing outside the door, hands in his pocket looking directly at me.

"I'm making rice balls!" I say putting on my cheerful smile.

Kyo does a faint smile and walks over to me, looking down at what I have done so far with the cooking.

"Let me help you with that." he grabbed the tool that I was using out of my hand and started to continue my work. I decided to let him and go set the table for when Yuki and Shigure came back.

All done! The table was all set, I went back into the kitchen to get a nice aroma of tea. I walked over to Kyo's bench to see a nice pot of tea on the stove heating up.

"That smells amazing Kyo!" I say taking the nice aroma of the tea.

"Uh well it wasn't hard, I'v seen you do it all the time! Just copied what you did." he says not taking his eyes off the stove watching the steam come out of the kettle. I giggle slightly.

"Well I think you have done a better job than I would ever do!" I say placing my hand onto his shoulder.

"Thank's Tohru."

I look down to the kettle and grab it by the handle slowly taking it off the stove. I carry it to the table and place it in the middle, I went back into the kitchen and got some cups. I placed them next to the chopsticks. I smiled to myself on how nice the table looked.

I walked back into the kitchen to see Kyo standing there looking out the window, I had this massive feeling to walk over and wrap my arms around his waist from behind. Telling him everything was going to be ok.

I did what my feelings wanted me to. I walked over and wrapped my arms around his waist leaning into his back.

"Are you ok Kyo? You seem down." I ask burring my head into his back.

I feel Kyo turn his whole body around so my head was now buried into his chest. I tighten my grip around his waist.

"I'm fine Tohru, you don't need to worry." He says softly.

"No your not, I know your not! Kyo tell me what is wrong. I'm here for you."

I heard Kyo sigh, I felt his forehead being placed in the crook of my neck, and his arms wrap around me pulling me closer to him. There was now no gap between me and him.

"Are you, afraid of me Tohru?" he says softly.

"Kyo, why would I be afraid of you?"

"Because. You saw me. My true form. My true self." I could feel tears escape his eyes and land onto my shoulder. I didn't care I wanted to help him.

"Kyo, that beast you became. That's not you. That's not the Kyo I know! You are stronger, kinder, more loving, people care about you Kyo, people need you in there lives!" I say with tears coming out of my eyes.

"Then tell me Tohru. Tell me one person who need's me in there life." he whispers to me.

I pause for a second. I take my time to think about what my response was going to be to Kyo. Then I knew. I knew who needed him!

"I need you. Kyo." I whisper.

Kyo's Pov:

"I need you. Kyo." Tohru whispers.

I stand there in shock, taking in what Tohru had just said to me. It was her, it was because of her I don't need the beads, its because of her i'm not a beast right now.

"Prove it to me. Tohru. Prove to me that I mean that much." I say looking down towards her.

She stares up at me, with slight tears in her eyes. her hands reaches up to my neck, pulling my face so it was only inches away from hers. Then she did something I never Tohru would do.

She kissed me. My arms tighten my grip around her waist pulling her closer to me. We continued this for a little bit. Moving in perfect sink. I didn't want this to end. But our bodies soon would need oxygen so we both parted.

We stared into each others eyes. Not wanting this moment to end.

"Kyo, I need you in my life. I need you because. I, I love you Kyo.

Those words. Those three words, those eight letters. She said them, to me! Kyo Sohma. The beast. The monster. The person who doesn't belong in the Chinese Zodiac. The cat, who gets left behind.

"Tohru. I love you to." I whisper into her hair.

"Kyo stay with me ti'll the very end. Don't leave. Don't leave me."

"I won't, from now on. My life is dedicated to you Tohru. I love you."

We both looked into each others eyes. We both shared another kiss. That day when she saved me from my curse. That was the day I knew. Me and Tohru were meant to be.
