How do you know Akita?" Lloyd asked Cleona as they tracked through the desert.
"We met a long time ago" She said ditching her coat on top of a dune"Morro was a sick and twisted man you have only seen part of what he truly was,would you like to know the truth that Akita will never be able to tell you?"
Lloyd fixed his gaze on the horizon,he knew it would be a horrible story,"Yes"
"What I tell you is the truth," She stated"I must first express that my memories of the events are unmared by emotions on the matter.Now to begin:
There used to be many more formling villages but the formlings who had lived there had either died out or left to join other tribes.I knew something was wrong when I woke up to find it has snowed one summer morning we all ignored it...but a few weeks later armed soilders from the emporer came and killed everyone,only me and five other girls survived we were left to die in the ungodly temperatures.But we were not that lucky,not long after we were found by Morro.He had promised to take care of us and to keep us safe,we had no other options so we went with them.I wish we hadnt.Once at his fortress he gave us a warm meal...but it had been poisened.I woke up hours later in a cell.There was another girl who shared the cell with me,She was screaming and pounding on the bars and walls she screamed until she lost her voice,but wouldnt even cry.It was Akita.Then the expirements began.There were 49 of us girls in total,she was number 1 every experiment started with her and ended with me.No matter what Morro did she didnt die.It made some of the girls go crazy and we were forced to kill them.Once the mind control was perfected the remainder of us became almost unstoppable. But soon a flaw became apparent Akita could remember everything she had been forced to do.Sometimes when I talked to her it was as if I wasnt speaking to her,thats how I became acquainted with Aka.Aka was so sweet unaware of what was truly happening and I made sure to protect the remainder of Akita's childhood.In the middle of the night years later we were awoken,Akita and I were the only survivers of the past couple years,I was sent out to guard the entrance to the fortress.Minutes later the mind control on me disapeared I ran back in to find Morro dead along with all the other scientists. But Akita was gone.I went off on my own I became a fortune teller and one morning years later I found Akita unconscious on a river bank.When she awoke she told me about the things that had happened,she told me that she found a spell that could bring her mother back,but for it to work she needed to kill someone she cared for,she planned to kill you"Cleona stopped walking and turned to him"Lloyd you must not blame her-"
"I dont" Lloyd whispered
Cleona raised an eyebrow"You dont?"
"It all makes sense now,"
