~ The Scandal ~
When Changbin had first broken the news of the scandal to Han, you had been completely blindsided by it when Han told you. At first, you couldn’t believe it. But as you slowly started to wrap your head around it, bits and pieces that were odd became clearer and made more sense as you thought about it. Your first reaction had been hurt but then that quickly turned to fear that you would be pushed out by the company and forced apart from Han, or worse, broken off for image protection. Han had stopped you and firmly told you that there would be no discussion of that from him or the others. He told you that Chan and Changbin were working on that and that they would protect you and Han from JYP. Han told you that the only thing that you needed to worry about was finding the truth and figuring out how you wanted to proceed from that point on.
After you had cried for a while, you felt a massive headache coming on. Han had said that he needed to check back in with Chan and Changbin but that he would be back as soon as he could. You had laid down and closed your eyes and tried not to think. A short time later, you heard footsteps. When you opened your eyes, you saw Isabella. As she studied you with concern, you could tell that she was worried about you. Feeling your eyes start to tear up, you squeezed them shut just as Isabella sat down on the bed and hugged you.
“Shh…Y/N. It’s okay. I’m here. Han’s got you. And so do us girls and the members. We’ll get through this. We love you…”
As another round of sobs wracked through your body, Isabella laid down and hugged you, smoothing the hair off your tear streaked face.
“Oh no…”
You vaguely hear Wren murmur as she walks into you and Han’s bedroom. She laid down on the other side of you and snuggled you together with Isabella. You had cried yourself to sleep not too long after that. When you finally started to stir, you noticed that the girls were gone. Han was snuggled up with you, his eyes closed. He looked tired, his face slightly marked with worry. You stirred slightly, needing to go to the bathroom and get a drink. Han’s eyes flew open, and he pulled you into a tight hug.
“Hey love…how are you doing?”
You cleared your throat as you sat up and scooted off the bed.
“Like I just got hit by a truck…”
When you came out of the bathroom, Han was sitting on the edge of the bed. He opened his arms, motioning for you to come to him. You shuffled into his arms and snuggled into him. You were immediately calmed by the deep rumbling of his voice.
“Chan and Changbin have gotten things worked out with JYP. You’re going to be protected. Not just by me and Stray Kids, but by JYP as well.”You pulled back surprised. Han smiled softly.
“Changbin must have gotten through to him. And once he saw that Chan was backing you up as well as the rest of us, he knew that he didn’t stand a chance. Chan told him that he was absolutely sure that you were not involved, and that you were a person of integrity.”
You were quiet as you mulled that over. You frowned slightly as a new worry popped up.
“What about Stays though?”
Han smiled. He got up and went to grab his laptop. Pulling up the screen, he motioned for you to sit down.
“See for yourself.”
As you started to read the comments left on the news article and several others, your eyes widened. Most of the comments expressed concern and sympathy for you, along with support and encouragement. You turned to Han in disbelief. He chuckled at your expression.
“You’ve been on enough shows and lives that Stays have seen the real you. They know that you are not that type of person, and they are willing to protect you too.”
