Sunoo was quickly raking through his hair and fixing his makeup, hoping he wouldn't take too long, considering Riki had sent him a message ten minutes ago saying he was on his way.
The boy put on some strawberry lip gloss and checked the mirror one last time before rushing into his room and throwing on a pair of white, platform converse and picking up his tote bag to head downstairs.
Sunoo dashed (stream tamed-dashed) down the flight of stairs just in time for his "date" to honk his car horn, signaling the latter to hurry. He then took a deep breath and walked out the door, anxiety radiating off of him as he sat in the passenger seat

"How's it going, baby?"
The taller asked, wondering how his passenger would respond to the sudden pet-name
"W-wait huh? Baby? We aren't even together! What the fuck nishi! Quit it!"
Sunoo responded, quickly getting extremely flustered and beet red, which was most definitely from the heat and nothing else
"You don't seem to mind it too much, I mean, you are pretty red right now. Oh! Did I forget to mention you're pretty too?"
The younger spouted off, with a cocky look on his face and way too much confidence for a first date that isn't even really a date ( for sure 😐)
" I- don-, Aish, Just shut up and drive, riki. You know, you really should be using honorifics, don't be rude. Also, it's like really fucking hot in this car, I'm melting."
"You really do complain a lot for someone that was just a stuttering mess over a single compliment. And, from someone who you supposedly find annoying. Quite contradictory, don't you think?"
Riki made direct eye contact this time, again trying to make his date flustered, which seems to have worked, judging by his quick look-away and bright red face
"Stop looking at me like that, keep your eyes on the road!"
"Now, why would I keep my eyes on the road when I could have my eyes on you? I think it's pretty clear which is more appealing."
"Well stop! You're making me nervous and I don't like it!"
Niki laughed at the shorter's words and pulled into the parking lot, slowly becoming more and more anxious, despite his flirty attitude

The pair walked into the restaurant, earning many looks from Niki's ex-flings and random homophobes, much to sunoo's distaste. They made their way through tables and booths and finally found an open set of chairs for themselves.
"So were you just gonna not tell me that every single one of your exes would be here giving my dirty looks?" Sunoo spoke, rolling his eyes a bit at the stupidity.
"It's not like I knew, it's not very normal to keep in contact with your exes." Niki said back glancing at the older to see the expression on his face, which he quickly gathered was a look of disgust and annoyance.
"Fine. I Guess you're right, but still! Why are they ALL here at the same time? Do they stalk you or some shit?"
"Who knows?" Niki shrugged his shoulders and focused on the menu, selecting what he was gonna order

After their food was ordered, the two talked for quite a while, much to Niki's surprise and hopefulness.
When they finished their food, they paid the check and headed back to Niki's car
"So do you remember the way back or do we need Google maps?"
"I think I remember, not entirely sure but sure enough I guess."
"Well that makes me feel SO safe."
"I'm glad you feel comfortable, princess" Niki winked at the latter, sending him a flirty smile as well
"Ni-I-well- ugh just shut up! I'm never doing this ever again!"
"Wait sun, no-"
"Huh? You want this to happen again?"
"I mean preferably, there's a reason why I asked you out in the first place," Niki replied, suddenly feeling a bit smaller and a lot more anxious
"You asked me out in exchange for notes! Not the same thing! And I don't believe in love anymore!"
Sunoo crossed his arms and spoke in a matter-of-fact tone
"I'll change your mind!"
"Haha, like hell you will nishimura"
"I'm serious, I'll pick you up at the same time next Friday. Wear something comfortable and cute, not that I'm worried about the second part."
"I didn't even say yes!"
"Well you didn't say no, so see you next Friday, love!"
"Fine"
Sunoo got out of the car, then sprinted to his room to call jungwon and give him ALL the details
