Gray x Natsu ~ Getting Over Them

Chapter 12

Gray's POV:

I slowly open my eyes just to be met with discomfort. Where am I?'. I look around just to find myself in a large room with the bandits Natsu, Erza, Lucy, Wendy, and I fought. This is most likely their hideout. 'Wait where is everyone?!'.

My hands were tied behind my back, along with my feet and chained to the wall by my hands. I attempt to use my maker magic to break the ice but I couldn't use my magic. These are probably magic canceling cuffs.

"Looks like icey boy is awake. Had a nice nap?" One of the bandits spoke; let's call him bandit 1.

"Where are my guild mates?" I ask.

"Don't you worry. They're perfectly fine" bandit number 2 replied.

"We only took you since we couldn't just let you guys get away after tarnish our reputation without some sort of payback" Bandit 1 added on.

"I hope you are ready for the hell you just brought yourself into. Natsu's gonna tear you guys apart. Erza as-well" I smirk. We easily took them down before and that was with Natsu and I unable to fight.

"I wouldn't hope on your friends coming. You see, we left them a little letter saying that if they come for you, you will die" Bandit 3 laughed.

"So what's you plan? Just keep me here until I die?"

"We had a bit more than that on our mind. If you may, Goumon" Bandit 1 spoke.

"Prepare to suffer torture upon torture!" came a voice from the crowd of bandits yelled.

A bald, beared man emerged from the crowd. He appeared to be a middle-aged man and is wearing a blue and gray kimono.

He bowed before sending many objects towards me. Goumon yelled "Tea-tea-tea-tea-tea-tea" as he sent the objects flying.

There was only so much I could do to doge with my hands tied up. I was able to slightly move left and right but it wasn't enough to doge them all. This was only a few objects but I was already taking damage.

'This isn't good. Natsu please hurry'

Natsu's POV:

I was growing tired. My legs were aching. And to make the matters worse I've almost completely lost Gray's scent. I had to run faster. I had been running for hours. And since I've been using my "Fire Dragon: Iron fist boosters" my magic was running low. I could feel myself slowly down.

"Dammit! Run faster!"

All of a sudden Gray's scent got stronger. That gave me the energy I needed to keep running.

'Don't worry Gray. I'm almost there'

I continued following Gray's scent until I came across a surprising well sized building at the edge of the woods. I wasted no time busting down the doors and my nose was spot on.

"He really came?!"

"All of us versus him? This'll be easy"

"This is practically suicide!"

"I'm sure gonna have fun beating him"

I charge at the bandits quickly talking them out.

"Your gonna regret messing with Fairy Tail. Fire Dragon: Roar!"

Majority of the bandits were now injured just leaving a few left. I went after the last few easily taking them out as well just to see the ones I had previously taken out rising back to their feet. The enchanter was healing them!

I scan around the room before setting my eyes on him. I noticed a punch going straight to my face. I ducked and knocked him off his feet with one a kick and then charged towards the enchanter. Knocking him out with one quick kick square in the face.

"Fire Dragon: Wing Attack!"

The remaining bandits are finally knock out with that attack. Just when I thought they were all gone I noticed a man bowing in the corner.

"This is chaos! You will be punished!" He yells and objects begin flying towards me. I dodge them all with easy and charge towards him.

"Fire Dragon: Iron Fist!" And with that he's out.

I scan the guild making sure no one else is needing a beat down before running over to Gray.

"Hey Gray!" He appears to be unconscious. Scratches were scattered on his body. I make quick work breaking his cuffs before lifting him onto my back and leaving.

I jog back to where Erza, Lucy, and Wendy last were hoping to find them along the way. I didn't want to run and worsen Gray's injuries and since he didn't need immediate medical attention it seemed alright.

"Hey! I found him!" I yell out to the three girls up ahead. I kneel down and carefully place Gray onto the ground. Erza, Lucy, and Wendy run up to us.

"What happened?" Erza asks.

"I found him like this and tied up. Guessing the bandits beat him up" I answered.

"Oh no! I'll do my best to heal him" Wendy says kneeling down next to Gray and lifting her hands over him. Her hands and Gray's body begin glowing.

"I gave those bandits a good beating. They'll know to never mess with Fairy Tail again" I say leaning against a tree.

A few moments later Wendy speaks up.

"I've done what I can for now. He seems healed but we should still get him to the guild's infirmary"

We nod and Erza puts Gray on her back. I would have taken him but she insisted that I needed to take it easy.

We make our way back to the hotel. Gather our stuff and then head out to the train.

"Can't I just walk" I groan slouching as I make my way onto the train.

"I thought you would have wanted to keep an eye on Gray to make sure nothing else happened" Erza teased.

I rolled my eyes but didn't deny it. It was true after all.

I sit down next to the window for the reasoning of puking. Erza lays Gray next to me and she takes a seat next to Lucy and Wendy across from us.

We made it back to the guild in a short amount of time.

"The train stopped!" I exclaim jumping up and going to lift Gray onto my back before walking off the train. We hurried towards the guild hall. Erza and Lucy informed Makarov on how the job went while relaying on Wendy and I to care for Gray.

I carefully lay Gray down on the infirmary cot. And allowed Wendy to care for his wounds.

"He should be okay. Don't worry" Wendy assures.

"Why would I be worried about the stripper?" I laugh.

"Well you look worried" Wendy says.

"I do not!" I retort. Wendy just laughs before leaving the infirmary.

"Gray..." I whisper taking a hold of his hand now that it's just him and I in the room. I rest my head on the cot next to mine and Gras hands and drift off into a well needed sleep.
